That seems pretty reckless to me. What's the protocol now?
I am not calling out A&M, I am sure they followed the same protocol as any other Big12 or SEC team, but that just seems excessive to not have to sit for at least one game.
Articles say he has been unable to participate in OTA's with the Cardinals due to the concussions he suffered while in college.
Wishing him the best, but you don't fool around with head injuries IMO.

Honestly only knew about one of them until the draft. Hope he is able to overcome this. Killed Aikman.

You never know - he could've had one the last week of the season and then had a while to recover waiting on the bowl game, or he could've had one right before a bye week. I guess it's impossible to tell. I sure do hope it doesn't hinder his professional career.

He was a 4 year player at A&M so it's possible that he could've had a mild concussion, maybe once a season, and as long as he passed any concussion tests/evaluation afterward been allowed to play the next week.
The frequency could hurt him with the issues the NFL is facing right now in regards to lawsuits over concussions though.

I do remember him having a concussion and then not returning one game. Can't remember which.
