That's fine. But isn't it a problem when I could name 5-6 other SEC match ups that the nation even notices than the Bama/UT game?
Yet that one game controls the schedules?

No one cares about LSU games either, outside of Lousiana. Using your logic, LSU should just stop playing football next year.

If not for winning bcs title games, the nation wouldn't even notice what the SEC does. Why should we care what the nation thinks?

As an outsider and avid football fan, I am not particularly glued to any game except ones that matter.
The IRON Bowl is interesting and outside of that probably Georgia/Florida gets the most exposure.
A&M will probably pull some interest from the West Coast.

Bama Fans are only camping on Tennessee right now cause they suck. They don't want to risk losing scheduling a good team like florida. That way they would have to start preparing for more than two games a season.
