There is no Big 3.There is football and everything else.

End thread?
Probably.
It'll be tough to top that one anytime soon.
Closest the Gamecocks can come is probably ... I dunno, 2011 a win over Nebraska in the Cap One Bowl and a baseball national championship.

For LSU, I'd have to say it would probably be 2000.
I disagree. In 1985-86 LSU set some kind of milestone for college athletics with the Big 3 sports (I think it was something like LSU was the first school to ever play in a football bowl game, basketball Final Four, and baseball College World Series in the same school year, or something similar).

07-08 saw LSU win a football NC, Make a trip to Omaha and an unbelievable win streak to close the Box, and John Brady got fired.
That's pretty much the perfect season for an LSU fan.

If BaseB and BB get on track you'll see tons of posters claiming they've been fans forever.

Mississippi State's Final Four appearance was in 1995-1996.
Mississippi State's Western Division Championship was in 1998-1999.
Mississippi State also made a CWS appearance in 1997 and 1998.

Well, we've won two titles in basketball, and I'd gladly trade one of them for just another conference title in football.

Hard for Bammers to follow more than one thing at time. Might cause an aneurism if they knew the world isn't flat and water is wet

I wish we'd win one in all 3 every year but at minimum spread out a bit.

Exactly, we get this gist of it already.I could probably type everyone's post for them.

Our problem is that when one of the big three did really well, one or more of the other two sucked.
However, that having been said:
1998-1999
Volleyball Final Four
BCS Bowl Berth (Big 12 Champions)
CWS (hosted regional and super)

In recent history I'll say Fall 07-Spring 08
Football: Finished 2nd in the country
Baseball: Finished 2nd in the country
Basketball: Won the SEC Tourney
Tennis: National Champs
Gymnastics: National Champs
I'm sure Golf, Swimming, Women's Hoops were good as always. We've had better Director's Cup finishes (2nd in the nation behind Stanford comes to mind) but 07-08 was probably our best big 3 showing recently.
