I have to admit... I like nick cage as a actor.. gone in 60 seconds was my all time favorite followed by raising arizona. He is the nickleback of actors!

did you know that a few years ago Nick Cage's $100,000 Porshe was stolen and eventually found at the bottom of Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks.

I really don't care one way or the other, but perhaps I'm just the exception that proves the rule.
I like him in the few movies I've seen him in. Seems like a pretty solid actor. I have no overwhelming feelings of love or hate for him, though. I will watch a Nick Cage movie, but I won't go out of my way to watch (or avoid watching) a movie just because of him.

Cage is a pretty good actor, but the vast majority of movies he's been in lately have been god awful. Next, Knowing, Season of the Witch, Gone in 60 Seconds...

Bad Lieutenant was INCREDIBLE! If you haven't seen this movie, just look it up on rottentomatoes.com and see what the critics thought of it. His incredible movies more than make up for his shitty movies.
However, he's such an interesting actor that at least he makes a shitty movie entertaining to watch. He can take a straight-to-video quality movie and make it better by simply being himself.
He's just doing a ton a crappy movies because he's broke and needs the money. He's admitted this openly...which is another reason I like him so much.
