BCS Championships not withstanding, is there any other measure of dominance?

I was listening to CBS Sports talk radio this morning and, in between the NBA bullshite (I don't get the infatuation with the NBA), they actually talked some college football.
The guy with the voice that sounds like Stockard Channing (you older guys know who I am talking about), said, "The SEC, whenever they are forced to match-up against good teams out of their own inbred conference, lose more than they win." (I started to call-in and call the guy a fricktard but it's Sunday and I try not to curse on Sundays.) So anyways, he goes on and on about how the SEC always "arranges" favorable match-ups in bowls, the BCS MNC games, etc.
Are there some conferences, or bowl games, where the SEC does not have a winning record against OoC teams that I don't know about? And since when are the SEC teams always putting evenly matched (in terms of conference standing and rankings) teams against their opponents? I always thought it was the other way around?
9-1 in BCS MNC games, amirite? With the only loss LSU's to Bama.
8-5 in the Sugar Bowl since 1997. (Sugar Bowl has not always had a SEC team involved in that period of time. But for some strange reason it is the bowl where the biggest OoC upsets have occurred.)
1-1 in the Fiesta Bowl, and only Tennessee has played in that bowl since '97.
11-5 in the Cotton Bowl since '97.
2-2 in the Orange Bowl since '97.
2-1 in the Gator Bowl since 2011.
12-10 vs the B1G in the Cap One Bowl since '93 when that series started after expansion.
11-7 in the Outback Bowl vs the B1G since that series started in '95.
6-8 in the Music City Bowl since its inception ... I did not realize that until just now.
10-11 in the Chick-fil-A Bowl since '93 when that series started. (I did not realize that we had a losing record in that bowl until just now.)
After looking down the bowl records and the individual games and where the teams and the opponents were ranked at the time the games were played, it is safe to say that the SEC, 9 times out of 10, faces a higher ranked opponent in the lesser bowls, (sic: non-BCS or Championship Bowl Series Bowls).
There have been some very notable upsets though, where we were supposed to have the vastly superior team in the bowl yet we lost.
Sugar Bowl
Utah 31, Bama 17 in 2009.
Louisville 31, UF 21 in 2013.
Chick-fil-A Bowl
#6 Tennessee 14 vs unranked Clemson 27 in 2004 and that really signaled the demise of the Vol football program at the time.
Liberty Bowl
UCF 10, UGA 6 in 2010
I just noticed something else ... let's look at it another way.
Bowl Records of SEC teams since expansion:
Georgia ... 13-5
Bama ... 11-5
LSU ... 11-5
Auburn ... 10-4
Florida ... 12-9
Ole Miss ... 9-1
SCAR ... 6-4
MSU ... 5-4
Vandy 2-1
A&M 1-0
Tennessee ... 8-10
Kentucky 3-5
Arkansas ... 3-8
Mizzou ... 0-0

Total 94-57

He actually said this, on-air?

If so, this is a person not to be taken seriously.

Yep, sure did. Even my wife caught it and said, "did he just call the SEC inbreds or was he just trying to make a point about the only tough teams we play are within our own conference?"
I took it as a slur personally.

Haters gonna hate. I think you are right.
The SEC usually has 2 BCS teams so the remaining bowls start with pick 3.
So Cap 1 usually gets #3 SEC team versus Big 10 #2.
It glides down from there.
#4 SEC plays #2 B12 in Cotton
#5 SEC plays #3 B10 in OB
#6 SEC plays #2 ACC in CFB
and so on and so forth.

Well, I guess sports talking heads don't really bother to fact check the shite they spew before going on air with it.
He's just trying to appeal to his listenership, probably a bunch of dumbass Clemson fans.

This is a mentality when a discussion is totally pointless. His mind is made up and that's it. For those with brain cells, the SEC doesn't make the matchups, the bowl committees do.

Here is the all time aggregate winning percentage the SEC as a whole vs other conferences.
This is regular season stats by the way and I included Miss and aTm.

2006 to present
Bama vs
Non SEC teams - 24-4 85.7% domination
Only thing that matters to me.
44-16 against SEC teams 75%

Can you do that since '92 expansion rather than "all-time?"

All time bowl records with min 20 bowls played
I didn't realize aTm has a losing bowl record nor that LSU is 1 win over .500 in bowl games.

honestly dude, I wouldn't get worked up about it. There is a certain segment that wants to tear the SEC down from the top perch. It's understandable as jealousy abounds.
But these comments aren't much different than those of Stoops when he talks about the "bottom half" of the conference. Such statements don't stand up to scrutiny. Overall the bottom 8 were 26-9 OOC with a 5-7 record vs BCS opponents. They lost to the top of the SEC and thus had bad overall records and this is the rationale used to justify they suck. But for the most part, those 8's OOC record would make them middle of the pack of BCS conferences. That's what is so sad.

Definitely. If there could only be one, it would be Stassen.
