will Freeze's seat warm up? @Vandy - L (First game of season, Bo still not 100%) SE Missouri - W (probably a win but who knows?) @Texas - L (Could be the second straight embarrasing OOC loss) off @Bama - L (this one's gonna hurt) @Auburn - L (Frazier passes for 4+ TD's) aTm - L (same story as last year) LSU - L (won't be close) Is this too optimistic? Your thoughts are appreciated.

You had the best offense in the league last year and we still came within three points. You lose your leading rusher, reciever, and a big piece of your O LINE. Our defense will only be better with returning 9 starters and the addition of some of these recruits.

They'll beat Auburn and Vandy I'm guessing.

3-4 to start the year isn't great though

A&M had 6 turnovers, and willed the victory... Better start doing a rain dance now if you want it to be like last year

No, but is entirely possible to win out from that point on, making it 8-4.

possible sure, I'd have to think you'll drop at least one game between @ MSU, vs Missouri, and vs Arkansas though.

8-4 would feel like more progress if I were an Ole Miss fan though

Wasn't arguing that we would get 6 TO again. I was saying we wouldn't need 6 TO's to keep it a good game and possibly beat you. You're losing Ryan Swope, Patrick Lewis, and Joekel. It's hard to replace 2 first rounders from Offensive Line anywhere you go.

That's why any rational fan can see Ole Miss having a record of anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4. And yes, it is progress. Freeze came to Ole Miss when the cupboard was bare, and the worst season in the school's history. 2-10 to 8-4 in 2 years would be progress to anyone with half a brain.

Correct.

Not to mention, better crootin, better offensive production, better defensive production, better effort, better fundamentals, fewer mistakes and best of all...

Ole Miss could go 7-5 and still consider it progress objectively IMO. Esp if you win your bowl game.

I know who we are losing. Patrick lewis wasn't a first rounder. Joeckel was. We still have 2 first rounders on our line. Ryan swope was a loss, but he wasn't our leading receiver. Our receiving corps will be just ad good as it was last year

The cupboard wasn't bare. The previous coach sucked and lost the team.
