seemed like he got paid and stopped caring.

AKA pretended he was a MLB player with a fat contract extension instead of a SEC coach

Which is why the cupboard was bare when Freeze got there.

Bottom line, with our defense having the opportunity to basically have everyone back from last year leads me to believe that we will be good enough to where we won't necessarily need 6 turnovers to compete with y'all.

I'm not going to indulge in a flame fest b/c I've posted it before. The cupboard wasn't bare. You guys had like top 20 recruiting classes.

This kind of talk didn't start until after last season. Prior to that State fans were quick to point out all the attrition from those classes and how we had absolutely no talent heading into the 2012 season.

People always seem to forget how many of the players from those classes left or were kicked off the team. Hell the 09 class had like 35 commitments and maybe half of them were still around last year.

Exactly. Freeze didn't have a whole lot work to work with and was left putting together a 2012 recruiting class from scraps.

Do you know how many scholarship players were on the team after Nutt chased/kicked them off the team? The cupboard was very very bare.

Freeze's seat won't warm up regardless... We can easily start 2-5, that's for sure... I'm gonna go with 3-4... I will be ecstatic if we are playing for an 8th win in our bowl game... Remember, Freeze is building this shite from the ground up... We were picked by many pundits and analysts to go 4-8 AT BEST last season.

Ole Miss has one guaranteed win on it's schedule..........Arkansas.

will Freeze's seat warm up?

@Vandy - L (First game of season, Bo still not 100%)
SE Missouri - W (probably a win but who knows?)
@Texas - L (Could be the second straight embarrasing OOC loss)
off
@Bama - L (this one's gonna hurt)
@Auburn - L (Frazier passes for 4+ TD's)
aTm - L (same story as last year)
LSU - L (won't be close)

Is this too optimistic? Your thoughts are appreciated.
