The good thing is that we'll get to see this whole debate play out on the field in a couple of 2013 season openers. LSU and TCU will square off in Cowboys Stadium to kick off the season, while Mississippi State and Oklahoma State will meet in Houston's Reliant Stadium.
For perspective, my ESPN colleague, David Ubben, had Oklahoma State No. 1 in his Big 12 post-spring power rankings and TCU No. 2.
In our SEC post-spring power rankings, we had LSU No. 6 and Mississippi State No. 10.

You're right ... I probably have both Oklahoma and Texas too high.

People think pretty highly of Baylor.

So I checked out the playbook part by DJ Gallo

Maybe we should look at some important criteria to determine which conference is superior. Should we? You tell me.
Johnny Manziel
The Heisman winner began his career in the Big 12 in 2011. He was redshirted. You redshirt someone when he’s not good enough to play for you. So Johnny Manziel was not good enough to play in the Big 12.
yea, I stopped reading after his first "point" b/c this clearly isnt a serious article.

This. Next years game will be completely different but I don't see how you can already say we are better

Not sure if you are aware or not but last year =/= to this year...
Let's see how that game goes.

If this is football, Kansas should be 50th.

Ole Miss beating Texas in Austin would be fantastic. I expect it, but admit it wouldn't surprise me if it went either way. Should be a good game.
MSU vs. Oklahoma State is critical. If the Bulldogs lose then it's their fault if SEC doesn't get in to the NC game. No pressure, Bulldogs :-)

I couldn't believe he'd actually say that, but he did. Thanks for the link. Hard to believe he'd do that after A&M dismantled the Big 12 co-champs.
