I know I will get blasted by lsu fans but?

I do not understand why lsu fans get so worked up about sec scheduling? It may suck to be paired with Florida, as they have been consistently good for a long time. But, Long story short is, I do not recall hearing gator fans concern themselves with being paired with LSU nearly as much as we do. Lsu is elite, Florida should be just as annoyed.

Because the alternative for Florida is having to play Alabama more often.

LSU is just trying to duck Missouri.
Missouri has never lost to LSU.
We are also 1-0 against them all time in bowl games.
They are scared and don't want to play us. End of story.

schedules... Wah. LSU had an easy schedule with one of the most talented teams of all time in 2007. Still lost two games, still took home the crown.
Just win, and forget the rest.

As the first UF fan to reply I can say the LSU game is the highlight of the SEC schedule each year for me. When its in G'ville i'm there. Ive only made the trip to BR once and had a blast. Team strength or not It's a great rivalry with some pretty great fans on both sides.

It has nothing to do with FL, and everything to do with fairness. There should be no permanent opponents. Scheduling should be done on a rotating basis so that everyone has the ability to play each other.

Guess what, if TAM hadn't lost to Florida last year, they would have won the SEC West. Bama got Georgia taken off their schedule this year, and both LSU and TAM got Florida last year. You’re an idiot if you don't see the gigantic scheduling advantage Bama enjoyed last year in winning the SEC West.
And the SEC made sure Bama got a gigantic advantage against LSU this year too by switching the Georgia game from Bama to LSU. Making LSU play Florida isn't enough, they had to give Georgia to LSU this year too.
Furthermore, Florida has Georgia as its toughest competition to contend with in the East, while LSU has Bama and now TAM in the West. Florida wouldn't mind rotating LSU on their schedule, but they don't want to go to a nine conference game schedule because they would have to drop an OOC pansy.

Every LSU fan that I know loves playing the big boys in the SEC. We just want the other competitor in the west to play a comparable schedule. Florida has nothing to do with it.

Why can't Bama fans admit they have played easy schedules over the last couple of years and that the only reason they have won 3 natty's?............ Its ok we understand there is a lot of hate towards ya.... But if you seriously cant admit it your fooling yourselves..... Geaux Tigers!! See ya in Nov... P.S. No one cares about gators except the swamp people we will destroy them this year!

The biggest complaint is that in the two years the SEC has made up the schedule, we have gotten USCe and UGA away, and Bama has gotten Kentucky and Missouri. We have play 2/3 of the good teams in the east while they play none until the SEC Championship game, or none at all if they get put in the NCG because they are bama.

I have no issue with being paired with Florida if we are forced to have a permanent opponent. But the entire concept sucks.
