career next year. Bama, Arky, and Mizz. I wonder which ones get canned and which school will Coach Calipari, coach K, and Petino end up at.

All 3 may want a change of scenery. You get stale when you been somewhere a long time, just ask the VT head football coach

Wait, what?

Cal isn't leaving unless the NCAA or the Heat comes calling. Coach K isn't leaving Duke or Pitino leaving Louisville this late in their careers except for retirement.

Your sail is ripped.

The only team that this applies to is Bama, they're paying Grant $2 million+ and he hasn't done shite.

Anderson and Haith are fine.

Uh huh.

And as Stonehog said, I don't see anyone in jeopardy unless they just totally bomb aside from Grant at this point.

There's more than 3.

Both Kennedys are in "win or get fired" mode (Billy Kennedy moreso). UGA and Auburn coaches can't have much slack left.

Mike Anderson has at least 2 more years guaranteed. He is a favorite by many fans and will be given time to set up his program.

Coaches are fired too quickly these days. Shoot, Tom Crean had horrible records at Indiana his first 3 or so years there.

That said, I agree with Grant being in trouble. Had Bama made the tournament since he was hired?

Grant isn't even on the hot seat imo.

Do you remember how long Gottfired got to hang around with mediocre teams?

Yes, they got a 9 seed in 2012.

If his '06-'07 team wasn't mediocre, then Grant hasn't had a mediocre team since his first season.

You have to be trolling. Anderson still has years before he's on the hot seat. A lousy season next year may start the grumbling but there's a lot of time between when the grumbling starts and a hot seat starts. Same can be said of Haith. As a fan, I will start to question Haith if he doesn't get out of the first freaking round next year but the reality of it is the AD isn't going to fire a coach who has made it to the tourney every year he has been at the University.

As to who I would think would be on the hot seat, it's Fox at UGA, Barbee at Aub and Kennedy at A&M if I had to pick 3. Kennedy at OM isn't on the hot seat after this year. Grant has a lot returning next year and will make the tourney so he's not. If he doesn't make the tourney with so much returning, then maybe a warm seat.

His run definitely helped him out this year. But he better have someone babysitting Hendo every day so that kid doesn't frick up.

He's also got to find some more size in the post.
