Is there a team that loses the ballgame at the very last minute(or even seconds) like Ole Miss seems to do?

Just looking at the past football season.

Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, LSU were both games seemingly won by Ole Miss up until the last minutes of play.

In basketball, the LaSalle is a perfect example of this.

I'm sure there are many more cases of this.

It just seems that if you're a team playing Ole Miss and you're tasked with making some kind of miracle comeback(be it a 50ft 3pt shot to win the game or a 10pts in 2 minutes in a football game), your chances of doing so is much higher...when you're playing Ole Miss.

State fans really shouldn't bring attention to themselves when trying to be better at sports against any team.

Is Mississippi State the youngest brother of 3? Southern Mississippi and Ole Miss are better historically.

Fair enough, but has there ever been a paper tiger like Mississippi State? They could win 7,8, even 9 games in a row, and we'd all know they were still pretenders. No amount of success could convince SEC fans that State is ever a real threat.

huh.... Ole Miss won the SEC Basketball tournament... when was the last time MSU had a championship in the major two sports (losing to UK two years ago in the championship game doesn't count)?

Speaking of this, I was wondering the othe day if it is painful for Ole Miss fans to be watching march madness all month and see the Axe commercial time after time of Valpraisal hitting the 3 at the buzzer to beat Ole Miss. I can see that getting old really fast if I was them.

Would you like to discuss the choke job that MSU pulled last season? 7-0 only to finish the regular season 8-4 and loosing to Ole Miss a 6-6 team?

If I was a quarterback facing Ole Miss, needing a touchdown to win the game with less than 2:00 left in the game, I would just throw the football behind my back with my eyes close and watch nature take its course as Ole Miss somehow found a way to give us a touchdown.

towards the end of the season, we had 56 scholarship players dressing out for the game. Most of which were first or second year players.

Easy to "choke" on defense late in the game if you're young and understaffed.

and we still beat MSU with only 56 scholarship players.

Georgia basketball this year was definitely in the convo. We lost probably 7 or 8 games in the last 2 minutes.

To be a choker, you have to have something on the line, and always blow it...hence you "choke it away"

IMO, Arkansas and South Carolina are a bit choker-ish with the SEC title...
