"Actually quite intelligent". Then how does that explain the last 3 yrs of his college career? He may be intelligent but his police record makes him sound stupid as hell. And Gerald Glass would play circles around him, on both ends of the court. All he does is shoot.A lot. If he's hot, then he's good. If not, he sucks. Glass played full speed all the time AND could lite it up. And showing my age, didn't O.Miss have another white gunner back in the 90's or so? One with a bit more class, perhaps? Johnnie Newman, mabe?

Johnny Neumann was a great talent from Memphis and played one year at Ole Miss, the 68-69 season. Hung 63 on the Tigers in Baton Rouge that year. A long story, but he left before the season ended for money to help his family. I don't think Johnny's story and time relates to Marshall's story and time, except that they both were Rebels. And I've seen plenty of time. Probably too old for the feisty crowd on this board.
