True fact: Most of the good black basketball players are from the Northeast and California.

There is still enough talent regionally for some SEC teams to be good.

It goes in cycles. Next year, the SEC should be very strong.

Next year I could see at least 6 SEC teams in the Big Dance with Kentucky, Florida, LSU, Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee. I don't know what the others have coming in, so there could be more.

The thing is, all these teams have to schedule stronger in the OOC, so when they start beating up on each other, it won't matter so much.

There are plenty of good players in Cali, but talent in the SE is far better than talent in the NE. Most SEC teams just don't have the history and fan support that the NE schools do.

Not that I disagree, but is this where Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas traditionally recruit? Tennessee usually has a pretty strong pool of basketball talent. Not saying it compares New York or Detroit though.
