This. Only Auburn would hire a coach that his best asset is his ability to recruit and then put up barriers that make it difficult to recruit around. If we aren't going to remove a lot of those obstacles our next coach needs to be a guy known for evaluating and developing talent that fits into a system.

I know next to nothing about basketball, but I have tried to follow it more in the past couple of years. What are the barriers beyond what I always hear (poor fan support/tradition, poor recruiting area, something to do with the Under Armor contract, football school)?
