How does anyone see their recovery taking shape?

History shows Auburn generally does not stay down for long.

LSU went from a 1 conference win team in 99 to Conference Champion 2 years later in 2001, so quick turnarounds in this league are not unheard of.

It'll be a long process. Might take years to recover from the mess Chizik left behind. They won't beat Bama, LSU, A&M, Arky or UGA for the next few years.

AU's problem is LSU & Bama are consistently good nowadays. Then throw in A&M and OM rising. Arky & MSU are still there. UGA has AU's number. Add it all up, AU may have a very good year 1 out of 5 years.

Auburn has never lost the ability to rustle jimmies on the Rant.

It will be enlightening to read the opinions of a bunch of Bama and LSU fans on this topic.

Two coaching changes away from returning to even mediocrity.

We are already back on the right track. S&C has the power to do something now, we don't have two assistant coaches actively undermining the HC. I think the offense will see a drastic turnaround, the defense I'm just not sure. We "should" improve drastically, due to how bad we were, but how much is up in the air.

Either way we'll likely be breaking in a new QB. we have a lot of returning experience but coaching was suspect at several positions.

I suspect anywhere from 6-8 wins next year but it is way too early to talk about that. We are recruiting well we just need a coach to actually do something with the talent, namely win.
