Arkansas Dominates Their Rivals in the Director's Cup Standings

Directors Cup Finishes:
2012: 20-Arkansas 200-Arkansas State 242- Louisiana Monroe
2011: 24-Arkansas 229-Arkansas State Not Ranked- Louisiana Monroe
2010: 46-Arkansas 199-Arkansas State 230-Louisiana Monroe
2009: 25-Arkansas 235-Arkansas State Not Ranked-Louisiana Monroe
2008: 24-Arkansas 156-Arkansas State 279-Louisiana Monroe
5-year average: Arkansas - 27.8 Arkansas State - 203.8 Louisiana Monroe -Embarrassingly High Number
It appears that there's a significant difference in overall athletic departments.
Despite the fact that:
1. Arkansas refuses to play their in-state rival in any sport;
2. Arkansas State has a better bowl record;
3. Arkansas State has won a bowl game in 2013;
4. Louisiana Monroe owns scoreboard in football over Arkansas
At one time, I doubted that Arkansas was the flagship in the Natural State. I stand corrected. Arkansas is the flagship of their state in all sports except football. Louisiana Monroe owns that distinction.

It's really unfair to Arkansas when someone wants to compare their program with Florida, LSU, A&M, or any other well-rounded top-flight athletic programs.
Comparing Arky to Arkansas State or Louisiana Monroe just levels the playing field, allowing Hog fans to bask in their dominance over these two humble programs.
