Ryan Perrilloux, QB, 2005 class

He wasn't a bust. Miles kicked him off the team.

Not sure what site your looking at, but Frazier was a 4* on rivals and Pike ended up being a 3*.

ahhh the infamous retroactive edits that Rivals is known for. Frazier and Pike were 5* guys when committed/signed. End of discussion on those guys.

which makes LM's .500 record against us that much more pathetic considering LSU's embarassment of riches in talent.

Wasn't Bryce Brown just kind of crazy or something? I didn't think he was a bust in the same way as Russell Shepard.

Tolliver had like 1,700 yards receiving for his career. Not exactly bust-worthy compared to guys with zero starts, few tackles, in jail, etc.

I don't think you guys know what a "bust" is.

Shon Coleman -- not a bust. Cancer > football. Still playing despite being told he might not be able to play football again. Kid has a lot of heart.

Kodi Burns -- not a bust. Team captain on NC team. Caught a TD in NC game. That in itself makes his recruitment worthwhile.

Dyer -- not a bust. MVP of BCS title game. See above. Back to back 1,000 yard season. Basically, he was going to go pro as a junior anyway, so kid only had one year of eligibility left as far as I'm concerned.

D Summers... I was so excited when he decided to stay in state, but the weed was too good for that dude to put down.

Here's one some UGA fans may not even remember, of course he never stepped foot on the field, Eric McLendon. 5-Star DT in 2004 class(According to Scout).

I think if you're a 5 star and both have an underwhelming college career and go undrafted you're pretty much a bust imo. which is why (see below)

Bryce Brown was a bust as a college player, for sure; however, he started a few games for the Eagles this year as a rookie and did very well. Seeing as he's overcome whatever the hell was wrong with him for a few years, I wouldn't call him a bust anymore. Bust for Tennessee? yes. Bust as a player, no.

Someone may be able to answer this. Wasn't Ricardo Hurley a 5* LB at South Carolina that never panned out?

I'm not saying Perrilloux would have busted, but let's keep in mind Jordan Jefferson looked like an All-American in his first start in the 2008 Chick-Fil-a Bowl, too. We all know what happened to him.

Comparing JJ to RP is ridiculous. JJ would have never seen the field and would have probably transferred if RP hadn't been kicked off the team.

I posted this in the TR, but what about DeBose from Florida? 2009 class.

Yeah he's been mentioned.

In fairness to him, he was hurt early in his college career and still has eligibility.
