That Friday we watched the game from the bar on the roof of the hotel across the street in the outfield. That was really cool too

Can't we all. Still not sure what to make of Matheny. I'm not kidding you when I tell you that in the summer of 2011 my son's team is playing against a team that had what would turn out to be in the summer of 2012 the coaching staff of the Cards. One year coaching little league baseball. Next year in the Bigs. I like a lot of what I see but just young.

I used to work in an office that you could see a good portion of the field from. There was a balcony that we'd go out and grill and drink and watch the game from.

Giants vs cards has turned into a decent rivalry. We play y'all in our home opening weekend in April

It was a 2 PM saturday game vs MIAMI in JuLy, seemed like 9000 degrees. Ive never been to old busch but really liked this one.
Yea they werent cheap seats but my buddy and i had just graduated pharmacy school and both love baseball and wanted to splurge.
It's well worth the money if you can do it.
We catch hell about the season our football team had, but they'll turn things around. They have the fan support and booster support. What I would love to see is some of the SEC love of college baseball rub off on us here in Missouri.
Actually trying to schedule my son's team for a tournament in Columbia the weekend LSU comes in town. Take the whole team to the games in between our own.

Yep. That tends to happen when you're constantly competing for the NL. Your Giants were unbeatable at the end of the year. It's all about whose playing hot at the right time and y'all were red hot.

Yea and good pitching still beats good hitting. Look at Zito, that dude hasn't thrown like that in almost 10 yrs

If that thug Scott Cousins hadn't ended Busters season in 2011 we could be celebrating 3 World Series in a row!

Hey jackass! Were still looking for some more cupcakes to play damn it! CGP needs to make it to a bowl next year to retain his status at MU.
Don't worry bout us, better worry bout yourselves. A&M is gonna blister your arse next season. Better worry bout that. They are the preverbial 3000 lb. gorilla of the SEC.

Mizzou better not schedule a football game during a Cardinals game.
I'll be pissed. I'd be forced to sell my Mizzou tickets if that's the case. No way Im missing Cardinal baseball late in the season.
Mizzou needs to take time figuring out their schedule so that it accommodates the Cards. No need to rush.

I'd be more concerned with the 2014 schedule if I was Missouri.
4 straight non-conference games to open the season? Assuming that doesn't change, you would play 8 straight SEC games with a bye somewhere in between.
