#1 You can mix and match players to your liking.

#2 This is adjusted for era. Don't give me any of this "Well the players now are bigger, faster stronger" stuff. That defeats the purpose.

Bama has 3 UNDISPUTED Natty's, Nebraska split one of theirs.

Bama wins.

95 Nebraska would've destroyed any of these Bama teams IMO.

Best team in the history of CFB.

Nebraska 90s for sure. They didnt lose a game and are the dynasty always brought up when comparing a current teams dominance.

But Bama 09-current is pretty good to just get in that conversation. Not to mention this run is not over. I'm not saying they will definitely win another one, but the talent is there to be favored again next year even, and who knows how Saban will take advantage of the new 4 team playoff.

Nah, just looked that way. There are more, better teams today.

Nebraska and Michigan didn't even PLAY that season. You're argument makes no sense. Nebraska went undefeated, and probably would've smashed the Wolverines.

Tough call. We don't know yet when the Bama dynasty will end, so this conversation might be a bit premature. I think I will give the edge to Nebraska at the moment.

Penn State was the best team in the Country in 1994, but they GAVE it to Nebraska because they felt sorry for Osborne because he had never won a Natty.

Nebraska dominated; Bama just wins.

But Bama has played against much better competition, IMO. Very impressive.

How does the argument NOT make sense? AP awarded Michigan the title, not Nebraska. That has to count for something.

Tommie Frazier just broke another tackle and scored another touchdown on the Gators.

Mid 90's Nebraska >>>> everyone.

You could argue if you wanted to that Bama shouldn't have been in the BCSCG 2 of the 3 times they won it.

I'm NOT trying to get into that kind of a debate, just pointing out that your line of reasoning is dubious because the system both then and know is far from perfect.

Hard to compare, because Nebraska went undefeated those years against a somewhat easier schedule. I still believe 95 Nebraska was the greatest in history, but 2009 Alabama was the most accomplished, considering who they beat.

I'd rather have 3 out of 4 BCS titles than what Nebraska did, but you could certainly argue their way.
