Does anyone deny Alabama is a dynasty?

It was debated that USC and LSU were "dynasties"
Can anyone deny Alabama is a dynasty in modern football, ignoring their decorated past?
It pains me to say they are. Saban is simply the best

The current run by Alabama is the closest thing to a dynasty in the BCS era... and can probably be said to be a dynasty, at that.

You need undefeated seasons to be a true college football dynasty. That is the precedent that has been set.
90s Nebraska 3 undefeated seasons
80s Miami 2 undefeated seasons
50s Oklahoma 3 or 4 undefeated seasons

I think they are a dynasty.
4 BCS Bowls in 5 years, 3 NCs the last 4 yrs.
Impressive

Yes, this current run is a dynastic one.
What makes this one more impressive, though, is that it is also in the middle of a conference dynasty. Winning 3 NCs in 4 years during a span when any number of teams from your own conference can stand up and win them (and have)? THAT'S impressive.

Arkansas is a bigger dynasty

The first dynasty since Nebraska. But all dynasties come to an end.

If they beat Sumlin, then I'll call 'em a dynasty

No.
Anyone with an ounce of objectivity would say they are definitely a dynasty. It's like EA Sports NCAA FB irl

meh
First of all, I talk a lot of smack on here and enjoy starting shite. I do realize how meaningless this forum is, and, in the big scheme, how trivial football is.
Secondly, congratulations to Alabama b/c they thoroughly whipped Notre Dame. What sticks out to me is the fact that LSU and UGA came within razor-thin margins of beating Alabama. Texas A&M did beat them. That tells me the margins b/w programs w/in the SEC are close ... much closer than the margin b/w the SEC and the rest of college football.
I may start buying into this "SEC SEC" stuff. It appears that the SEC teams eat their own, kill each other during the regular season, and through that competition, forge one champion that really can't be touched by the rest of the NCAA. (Last yr, that team was my alma mater -- yes I actually attended and graduated from the school -- LSU). Which is why LAST YEAR sticks in my craw. THIS YEAR, Alabama was the best team.
Message to LSU fans - stop saying stupid shite, stop bashing the coaches, b/c it only hurts your team. LSU is RIGHT THERE and needs to keep pressing. The margin, actually, is razor thin.

Nebraska is on the phone, they just said quit losing in the regular season. Not a dynasty.

Sports media wants Dynasty to sell the Gumps all they can! And they will ride that money train as long as they can.

At this point, I would say yes, they are a dynasty. By no means I'm I an Alabama fan, but it's how I see it.
All teams/programs that win consistently have some "luck" and bounces that go their way (ala LSU... remember?). There are several teams in the SEC that are close enough to Alabama in terms of talent and ability to compete with them every year.
And yes, all that rise will fall at some point.

Have to agree, the "dynasty" tag implies a certain level of total domination that the Tide hasn't quite managed (this coming from a fan of a team they've beaten by a combined score of 98-14 over the past two years).
That said, here's something to think about: since the beginning of the 2008 season, Bama has played 69 football games. They have taken the field with a legitimate shot at a BCS title in all but five of them (2009 Sugar Bowl vs Utah, and the last four games they played after the 2010 loss to LSU).
That's damned impressive.

The fact they have been sitting at home hoping for teams to lose in November to get a shot takes away from it some.
That said what they are doing is obviously very impressive.

Might not be done either. Chance to win the SEC again in 2013 or at least make another BCS bowl.
3/4 NC
4/5 BCS games - 3 wins all NC games
2/4 SEC titles
49-5 since 2008 BCS bowl loss
In CFB terms, that's a dynasty.
