A&M will be the only SEC team I pull against. I have immediate family that graduated from OU. to add to that, one of my uncles is a professor at A&M and he's a smarmy little bastard.

Hey remember how our southern hospitality precedes us ... we just got together, took a poll and decided there was no better way than that to welcome y'all into the SEC
Now next year ... prepare to get skullfricked

I hope A&M wins but Johnny Courtside has been more concerned with going to basketball games and drinking champagne with Hollywood stars to worry about Oklahoma

Ole Miss hired a good coach. I am worried about that game. Thank God it's at Kyle. That should have been an Ole Miss W and I felt bad for y'all's players, but we were on the receiving end of that type of loss last year 5 times. We were due a shitty game that we deserved to lose.

Believe me. There is a lot of concern among Aggies. At one point, we were hoping Johnny kept his schedule free for tonight.

The Alamo was a strategic sacrifice which ultimately won the war. A couple hundred guys with rifles held a large force at bay which ultimately rallied the Texians allowed Sam Houston beat Santa Anna's arse at San Jacinto.
quote:
On the afternoon of April 21 the Texian army attacked Santa Anna's camp near Lynchburg Ferry. The Mexican army was taken by surprise, and the Battle of San Jacinto was essentially over after 18 minutes. During the fighting, many of the Texian soldiers repeatedly cried "Remember the Alamo!"[152] Santa Anna was captured the following day, and reportedly told Houston: "That man may consider himself born to no common destiny who has conquered the Napoleon of the West. And now it remains for him to be generous to the vanquished."[153] Houston replied, "You should have remembered that at the Alamo".[153] Santa Anna was forced to order his troops out of Texas, ending Mexican control of the province and giving some legitimacy to the new republic.[153]
The Battle at the Alamo's Impact on the Revolution
So, yeah. They lost the Alamo, but their sacrifice was a huge factor in beating the Mexicans.
Okay. Now, frick history lessons. I am mad at you for luring me into this discussion.

Let me guess...he looks down on you due to your third tier education.

I realize you won the war.
However, you lost the Alamo to the fighting siestas.
