And I was told by a well off alumni that they've grown the size of the undergraduate classes too quickly by accepting students with marginal test scores and grades in what basically amounts to a money grab. The average ACT score for an entering UA freshmen is 22. At Auburn it's a 27. TIFIW
That's simply not true. Each year Bama has not only increased enrollment but also increased the average ACT scores and GPA of the incoming freshman class. And the average ACT score for an entering UA freshman is 25.6 not 22: LINK

Is that the White Standard or all race standard?

I knew 22 was simply untrue as well. No offense to sammy but where do some of you Auburn folks come up with some of the off the wall crap you do about Alabama? As an Alabama grad, I don't presume to know the exact details of Auburn's admissions or rankings. That's why I would go with a published report from Auburn's website vs. a random professor at Bama or Bama alum for my information on Auburn. I don't know why you guys are so eager to trash Alabama (the school) all the time. Be proud of Auburn's impressive ACT numbers instead. At least do a little research on Alabama beyond some random "Bama alum" if you're going to compare numbers.

I have heard that UA does not count special enrollment students toward those numbers. There are quit a few of those students allowed in order to increase enrollment.
