You guys should give Conference USA a look. You could rejoin Tulane. You'd have some natural regional rivalries with Houston, Rice, Southern Miss and Memphis also. You could even take out your Bama frustrations on UAB.
As far as your replacement, I'd suggest the University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. They wouldn't compete for a while. But on the upside, they'd keep the SEC in Louisiana, they have a cool mascot name, and this would end up improving our overabundance of tiger teams.

I'm beginning to think the only way LSU fans won't bitch is if they had 12 home games and every game was against the Deaf and Dumb School of the Blind and all games counted as SEC games, and that they had an autobid to the BCS championship game.
I hope you're joking. LSU fans for mind a hard schedule. In 2011 we were happy playing two conf champs. What we don't like is having two bridge schedules and playing USC and UGA while Bama gets Mizz and Kentucky. Also if you think LSU fans cry , you haven seen shite until Bama fans cry. In 2010,every sentence was about bye weeks, but what's funny is that they cried and the very next year , bye week restrictions were place.

So he knows UT won't be any good in 2013, a full year in advance? Wow, not only is he a Bama grad, he is psychic!
Really? Yeah teams that fire their head coaches are usually powerhouses that next year. I know Bama was a powerhouse in 07 and they barely lost to ulm. Come on. Common sense.
In the last 6 years, TENN has led for 9 minutes ,against Bama. TOTAL. 9 minutes in 6 games. If I were a Bama fan I would fight for that to continue too.

Too bad for him that he's Kevin Norwood's bitch.
Yeah those 4 catches for 2 first downs an ZERO TDS really showed us LSU fans how much he sucks. You gumps have turned jan 9th into this game where tm7 have up 160 yards and 3 TDs. WHEN IN FACT he gave up 4 , FOUR , catches for a total of 2,TWO , first downs and 0,ZERO, TDs. Yeah really burnt toast boy

I like LSU fans, always have because they're without a doubt the funniest, most laid back but i like them a lot better when they beat us. When we beat them, they get pretty nasty about it.
I don't mind losing to a good team like Bama. I have two best friends whom both bleed crimson, so I pull for Bama if they arent playing LSU.

Here's how you solve the "permanent opponent" crap:
1. Use the PAC 12 model (all the California schools play each other every year, the other schools rotate). This way, Alabama and Tennessee always play, Auburn and Georgia always play, and Arkansas and Missouri always play. Everyone else rotates all of their inter-divisional games. Which brings me to:
2. Go to a 9-game conference schedule. Let's face it: Every SEC team has at least one FCS school on their schedule every year. This would remove that. The only argument I could see against this is that it would likely reduce the number of bowl-eligible teams. The simple solution to that, of course is to REDUCE THE NUMBER OF BOWLS.

Bama vs Tn 55%
Bama vs Fla 61% and 6 of the last 8 and 3 straight
11 of 14 SEC schools and AD's are happy with the setup.

You guys should check Brewhans thread and see that this author was doing 2 different articles.
It's amazing this has went 8-9 pages. I think you fricks want us to leave the SEC more than we want Saban to go to the NFL

Slive pulled strings for Georgia and A&M, left Lsu with the Chick-Fil-A. A bowl they've been to what 6 times in the past 12 years?
this will be the 5th time they have been in it since 1996.
acting like its some huge slight is pretty funny, especially b/c we kept telling them the Cotton would prefer to take A&M if our record was good enough.

And beat dat arse frequently

Fcuk everyone of you who won't admit the SEC office tries to inflate Bama and inhibit LSU. It's as real as anything in the world.
How the _____ do you give LSU @UGA and give Bama @Kentucky? Stop saying "deal with it", this is all being done on purpose. If the same exact thing happened to Bama heads would roll.
