Would be terrible. They get mad and bust loose you basically HAVE to kill them, and that aint easy.
I'd pay good money to watch that hunting trip

Being raised in the La. swamp with the alligators, cotton mouths & wild hogs, that Ark. bacon looks pretty good to me!

Uga; I'd go for Mike only if he were allowed to run around the field at random times during games.
This would be fantastic. He actually got out one time and they found him sitting in the middle of the football field staring at the moon. pretty strange.

Mike didn't " get out". A weenie engineering professor had 4 of his students cut the lock on his cage ( I've seen the lock in his office )& Mike was found wandering across the infield of the track next door to TS. It was after midnite & few students were around or otherwise it could have been bad. He had last been fed round 6 pm. At the time students lived in the stadium, so one can only wonder a drunk student's thoughts if Mike had come running at him.

Its Mike hands down! I would love if Bama got a real big AL but not gonna happen. Too much red tape.

He was born and raised in captivity.
I know tigers will always be wild animals, but I don't really see Mike eating someone's face unless he wasn't fed for a couple days.

You ever see Mike when he's in a playful mood, typical of most cats? He swats those big arse paws at the glass wall & roars like a...wild beast. So even if he was not hungry, he's not something a drunk student wants coming at him. But the LSU vet school made it very clear: he 's a dangerous wild animal, raised in captivity or otherwise.

Mike the Tiger, the two Bulldogs @ UGA & Miss St. and the Auburn Eagle.

He's right up here with the Colorado Buffalo as my favorite mascot.
Not even close. That big arse Buffalo charging on the field is the best opening in college football.

Between Mike and the Eagle for sure.

Auburn's Eagle by a mile. Hell, they let that thing go every game and it keeps coming back.
Do you think that Mike would come back to his cage if they left it open one night? Not without a tranquilizer dart.
