Yea I forgot about UF's. They do have a gator I believe. That's pretty sweet.
IDC what people say I think Ugga is a boss. But I'm partial to English Bulldogs

Yea, that would be bad arse. Especially if it came out of the tunnel first with the team following
That might be an advantage for y'all. Bama players run in after the mascot and slip in shite. The other team wouldn't want to tackle y'all

never knew there was one. just googled it. a fricking bobcat? really? shouldve went with an ocelot or something badass.
Ocelots aren't exactly native to the state of Kentucky.
ETA: For inquiring minds, Kentucky's live wildcat

The University of Arkansas either boasts or has to live down, depending on your point of view, some boarish behavior from some of their live razorback mascots. In 1977, Big Red III (the name “Big Red” is now carried by the costumed human mascot) got loose from an exhibit and went rampaging through the countryside around Eureka Falls, Arkansas. Tore up jack and didn't stop until an angry farmer put a stop to him with a
bullet.
Most of the “razorbacks” used by the University of Arkansas are actually Russian boars raised in captivity. Physically they resemble wild razorback hogs, but they're (usually, with the exception of Red III) more tractable. Something Ragnar, a true wild hog who put in some time as mascot, made clear. Ragnar was captured by a Leola farmer named Bill Robinson, who deserves recognition for either being one of the bravest men in Arkansas or one of the most foolhardy. Ragnar killed a coyote, a 450 pound domestic pig, as well as being downright hard on the local rattlesnake population, killing seven. Some
pig!
When your mascot has killed living creatures come back and see us. Mike is just a big pussy cat.
winner...Razorback

No clue why, but that made me laugh heartily.
Ocelot would be a choice mascot. I love me some non-traditional mascots (e.g., TCU Horned Frogs, Cal-Santa Cruz Banana Slugs, OSU Buckeyes).

Please tell me the difference in UGA and Bully... UGA's bloodline is so inbred that they can't even keep one alive for more than a season or two while Bully is still going strong and is a much better example of a true English bulldog than UGA's all white dog

Florida had a live gator.
Per Wiki:
A live alligator named Albert, first appeared at football games during the 1957 season, and served as the mascot of the football team on the field before the costumed version of Albert became the mascot in 1970.[1] He was joined by a female version, Alberta, in 1984.[2]

Uga has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated, in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, on the set of Gameday twice, and almost took a bite out an Auburn player

A full grown African bull elephant doesn't really belong on a college campus. Would be bad arse though.
I'm starting to believe the mascot is one reason why LSU has a much stronger home-field advantage than Bama does. Seriously, what sight do you think will inspire more fear in an opposing team: seeing a live Bengal tiger or seeing a costumed mascot of an elephant?

That's what I'm talking about, dawgfan24348.
You gotta ask yourself two questions: First, what mascot instills fear in the opponent? Second, what animal has a schmoopy face?
Answer: English bulldog.
Fear the beast that is Uga 9ish (whatever number we're on - I lost track on account of all the dying)
