The problem with the Aggies is that they are too used to losing.
A&M win% vs current SEC:
Alabama .250 (4 games)
Arkansas .375 (68)
Auburn 1.000 (2)
Florida .500 (2)
Georgia .600 (5)
Kentucky .500 (2)
LSU .418 (49)
Mississippi 1.000 (4)
State .400 (5)
Missouri .583 (12)
Tennessee .000 (2)
For an over all win % of .393 vs SEC teams.
If Aggie gets a winning record vs State, then they can replace State as an LSU rival.
Should Aggie ever happen to achieve a winning record vs Arkansas, then we may consider you rivals.

Good thing we never have to go back to that one again, it's much nicer playing in the Cotton and BCS games. Meanwhile for the next three years the LSU ceiling is the Chicken, that must be really depressing having to face that.

I am exactly in your boat, but I have been arguing against these Aggies for a week straight and they seem utterly convinced I am a UT fan because of my arguments against them as "the team in Texas". And this was all done in what 1 season? Because last year A&M was 7-6 if I remember correctly and UT was 8-5, so apparently all it takes is 1 solid season and a trip to the cotton bowl to erase 15 years of shite stain seasons.

And it takes one ten win season but only making the Chicken to frick it all up. Recruits must love that their hard work can only get them that. The landscape is changing and only making Chicken Bowls isn't going to help.

Well these atm fans need to realize it will take more than one year in the cotton bowl to effectively be able to talk big game. Texas runs that state, aTm will play second fiddle for the foreseeable future.
