How long has it been since A&M got passed over for LSU when it comes to bowls in the SEC?

He only could beat the '08 A&M team that was Sherman's 1st year where he basically got rid of the few players Fran left him and started from scratch. Arkie State beat A&M that year too.

it acutally happend to us in 2005 and we've done pretty good since then.

I'm purely stating the obvious. Texas carries the weight over there, they are the cash cows in Texas. Yall got upset with the obvious and wanted to come to the SEC to gain a little status.
If you ask me, it's no surprise the Cotton bowl would take atm over LSU. Cotton bowl is appealing to a fanbase that is in the state the game is hosted in.
I'd be willing to be though, had the situation been between yall and texas(with Oklahoma not as a stand in option), they would get the nod. Same sense, if the Sugar was to choose between the two, I doubt they would take atm WITH their future heisman winning QB over LSU.
