not greater, but his accomplishments will have been incredibly impressive in an age where there is more parity in CFB

I will but that's mostly because I missed Bear's era. 3 chips in 4 years in THIS era of college football is crazy.

Bear didn't have to deal with scholarship limitations. If Saban wins again, it's Saban > Bear easily..

The thing about Bryant that makes him so revered by Bama fans wasn't just the wins...the extremely deep emotional impact he made on players as MEN separates him from Saban.

As far as wins, I'd say Saban is at least Bears equal.

If he wins this one. He is tied in my mind.

If he wins a 5th one, he is surpassed Bear.

Saban is doing this in an era when no one should be able to (85 scholarships now vs. 140+ back in Bear's time). If you were a big time coach, you could just out fame other schools for recruits.

t I would consider him equal. Coach Bryant was a member of the football team and a student also.

It's great to have both of these coaches in our history.

No. But he's definitely on track to achieve as much or more than the Bear if he keeps it up.

The coach that LSU built has already surpassed Mr Bryant.

Saban is already a better coach. He's revived 2 programs and turned them into powerhouse multi-NC's in just a few years.

With more restrictions and a stronger conference than the bear.

It depends on the nature of the question.

Coach Bryant brought pride to the state when there was not a whole lot to be proud of.

Nick Saban is a damn good coach.

How about just beating ND? Bear sucked at doing that.
