Read where a bunch of Techies want to tuck tail and run to the B1G and end Clean Old Fashioned Hate simply because we own their asses. Not only do they suck, they're also cowards.

I don't blame them....we own tech

Do you think it will actually happen?
I mean they already schedule us OOC now, I don't see what difference it would make.

STFU, can't believe you come w/ this bullsht
We'll stay in the ACC and burn the mother down before we give up on the Dawgs... do me a favor? How about stop bullshittin that any of your players are student athletes whatsoever and just start paying them straight up... We come into that game w/ two hands tied behind our back, so go fck yoursel

That's seriously a bitch move. But what else would you expect from them.

I think there will come a day when the Georgia-Georgia Tech rivalry will end.
They are just not competitive and are headed for a different conference.
The convenient "scheduling" excuse will happen. I have no doubt.

UGA would vote against Tech re-joining the SEC & we are the cowardly ones?

I'm 100% for it! We gain nothing by playing them...we are expected to beat 'em every time and if we lose we get hammered by media and nerds. We are wasting a home and home with an OOC opponent that does nothing for our SOC,recruiting or pocketbook...we can't dump their arse soon enough IMO.

Tech has done this before, right after WWI when they claimed a NC while every other school sent it's players to war.

Cowards? That's rich coming from the same school that absolutely refuses to discuss scheduling a game with Georgia Southern...maybe you can explain that one to me.

If you're scared, say you're scared.

Really dude? Come on. Like chris, or anyone here for that matter, has any say on who their "team" schedules to play? I'm sure some of the bigger boosters may have a TINY amount of say, and I do mean like .00001%, but that's it. Outside of that, it's the AD. The AD or president maybe afraid to do it, but that has nothing to do with the individual fans on a stupid message board. So please stop with the chest beating. Personally, I would hate to see the Tech rivalry go away. But if it happens, oh well. Maybe we can replace it with a permanent home home with clemson or something. At least that would be a somewhat competitive game.

Believe me, I really doubt GT wants to get rid of this rivalry...it makes far more sense for UGA to get rid of them than the other way around.

Oh, i'm sure of it. IIRC, thats the only game they come close to selling out. Heck, didn't they used to have 99 season tickets? What's funny was the ACC game last night. NO ONE was there. And that was with tickets going for 2 dollars on stubhub. And being there felt like a high school game. There was practically NO noise until the final drive when tech had an opportunity to comeback. kinda sad to be honest.

The ACCCG and SECCG were the only championship games with more than 60K tix sold. Next highest was Big 10 at 41K.
People stay home for games nowadays ... it's a trend.. even the mighty Dawgs have empty seats in their stadium
Meanwhile, GT is a top 25 college in the World.. that's another trend

There may have been 60k "tickets sold" to the ACCCG, but there sure as hell weren't 60k people there. Not by a long shot. Heck, they had 10k seats covered up with two giant freaking ACC banners.

That WWI bullshite is really getting old. Our football team was active because the campus was a training site, you morons. We had cadets on campus training to be pilots and officers in the military. Try again, loser.

Chris, did you graduate from Tech?
Posted on 12/2/12 at 1:07 pm to 1454
A higher % of GT fans on this board are college grad than UGA fans are.

Not debating that. But if you didn't go there(which you did) then you can't really talk shite about it being top x in the world. As you are not a beneficiary of that education. I can't talk shite about UGA's academic accomplishments because I haven't been there. I am on my way to getting a BS, but not at UGA. So that gives me no right to flaunt anything the school itself has accomplished. As I wasn't a part of that accomplishment.
