All of these arguments. The irony is palpable. If your team's ranking are wrong, how can you accept any rankings and use them as evidence?

Logically, if the system is flawed, it cannot produce a correct selection; ergo, you cannot use it to argue for your team logically.

When Bama played Michigan, Arkansas, and Mississippi State, they were ranked highly. That shows the inherent flaws, yet you believe the rankings of the teams your teams beat.

When the schedules came out, this was considered to be a pretty tough SOS. It really isn't anyone's fault that several teams have not lived up to their expectations.

Does a win against Auburn count? They were ranked.... 80-something.

Dude, even neutral parties admitted you guys were outplayed in that game. The box score says it, the "eyeball test" you guys love so much says it, and the fact that you used such a horseshite selective argument says it.

I'm not trying to discredit Alabama. It was impressive to leave that stadium with a win, but come the frick on.

Maybe LSU can invent a form o football that awards points for yards and third down conversions then.

But as far as football as we know it, the object of the game is to move the ball all the way across the opposing teams goal line more times than your opponent.

That is better than most of the stuff on here, but I was looking at something a bit more specific based on some earlier threads.

21-14 LSU in a rematch. Easy. I'm being generous too.. LSU could probably hang 28 on Bama with our improved WR/QB play. And this time around I bet there's more than 1 flag thrown on Alabama for holding.

I'm allowing for 3 more squandered FG opportunities by LSU (again) too fwiw.

Yates, you fricking bitch, you did the same shite leading up to the final BCS selection show last year and was completely fricking wrong about almost everything, and then you spouted similar shite like "Bama won't stay within 14 points of LSU in the championship" and were completely wrong.

bama didn't stay within 14 points of LSU in the championship game my man (although I dont really think that i ever predicted an LSU blow out.. i think i predicted a 3 point LSU win or a loss.. i was banned so long i dont remember)

let's be real though.. at least i'm consistent. i was railing against the BCS then for the same exact reason i am now. i think it's a shitty system because the human vote favors "name brand" and not on the field accomplishments.

It shows the inherent flaw of preseason rankings, not the BCS. Look at the current computer averages in the BCS.. it absolutely nails it based on the field accomplishments. It's the human voters that consistently frick shite up. They don't watch the games, yet their vote decides who plays.

Computers 11/25.. what do we need human voters for at this point?

1) ND
2) Florida
3) Alabama
4) Georgia
5) Oregon
6a) Stanford
6b) Kansas St
8a) LSU
8b) South Carolina
10a) Texas A&M
10b) Oklahoma

Can you teach me about grammer too?

Perhaps you could surf over to "dictionary.com" or stroll over to the library and get some old lady to look up the definition of whine. You've easily surpassed the average Rantards daily standard.

Keep it up, you may find another eight moniths in your future.

Here's the deal. Before the season the schedule looked tough. The truth is, some LSU fans will never, EVER get over the "Death Valley Drive" and have to poke holes in Bama's schedule because they're mad they aren't relevant in the National Title or SEC Title discussion. Let's look at Bama's "pathetic" schedule and LSU's "ridiculous, crazy, toughest in the history of college football" schedule.............

OOC Games

Michigan : Ranked #8 to start the year. Lost to Alabama (SEC West Champs, Potential BCSNC), Notre Dame (Potential BCSNC), Nebraska (Playing in the B1G Championship at 10-2), and Ohio State (12-0). Yeah Michigan sucks.

Washington: Not ranked to start the year. Lost to LSU (Tied for 2nd in the West and another solid 10 win season), Oregon (11-1 and 2nd in their division), USC (7-5 and unranked), Arizona (7-5 and unranked), and Washington State (3-9 and unranked)

You tell me which was the better OOC win??????

Patsy Teams

Bama beat Western Kentucky (7-5) 35-0, Florida Atlantic (3-8) 40-7, and Western Carolina (1-10) 49-0

LSU beat North Texas (4-8) 41-14, Idaho (1-11) 63-14, and Towson (6-5 Lost to juggernauts James Madison, Old Dominion and Delaware) 38-22 and you know it was closer than that.

Both are terrible but come on, playing tight with Towson??? Really?

SEC Schedule

Your schedule is obviously tougher by 2 games. Congrats. You got beat twice. Bama didn't. End of discussion.

OP, as mentioned, the bottom line is that some LSU fans are still mad and can't comprehend how the pitiful team they dominated from 2000-2007 (Most everyone else did too by the way) is now on the brink of potentially winning as many national titles in 4 years as they have in 100. They mad, real mad and want to discredit anything they can about Alabama because they hate Alabama. They always will because whether they want to admit it or not, they still love and long for Nick Saban. They'll dispute it and claim love for Miles, but they know deep down what I say is true. To the LSU fans that this is directed, you know who you are, 4 of 6, 21-17, potentially 3 of 4. DWI

If you aren't those fans, I loved Baton Rouge when I watched Miles outcoach Saban in the 2010 game. Crazy place. I'm sorry, I'm just tired of stupid, butthurt, jealous posts. Good Luck UGA fans. Should be a great game.

that's fine, LSU is most likely the best team in the nation so dwi. you know it, i know it, the media knows it, saban knows it, and your team knows it. LSU would probably sweep through play-offs and bama would be lucky to survive the first team they play with a passing offense
