Occurred tonight. This is beyond sad. Frick the PTB that haven't fired this bunch yet. Frick Jacobs. Frick Gouge. To hell with them all.

I'm not going to watch one second of that game.

Me neither. Last year I set the DVR and went fishing in my kayak. I saw the score and deleted the game. This year I am not even setting my DVR I am just going fishing.

I'm numb at this point but the iron bowl will reawaken emotions I don't want to feel

I can't believe you when you use the word "frick."

On a positive side, I have developed a taste for the harder liquors this season.

I will watch purely for the Lulz factor.

Let's talk a little about that....... i fish the Cahaba River a lot and I'm in the market as it were. I'm tired of the canoe.

Ross I am not sure that showed completely last night. Like the announcers pointed out, the offense was trying to cheer on the defense, but the defense was struggling. Guys seemed to be up and watching or resting on the bench. There was no laughing on the sideline that I saw that would imply guys were thinking, "whatever."

There are several sit on top kayaks made for fishing. I usually go by myself so the kayak allows me to paddle upstream and then I fish on the way down.
Just remember to get a kayak with about twice the weight capacity of your body weight.
Academy Sports has one called Pescador sport 12:
This is a great fishing kayak for about $500.
If you weigh 220 or less I would recommend it.
You also need to go online and get a comfortable seat. Without my seat I can only stay in my kayak for about 2 hours. With my seat I am comfortable all day.

I fell off the wagon in a big way yesterday.

Not that I'm trying to deflect a kayak discussion out of this thread, but the Outdoor Board handles these types of questions pretty frequently and generally gives good answers. It does remind me that I need to get off of my lazy butt and replace the wooden thwart that rotted on my canoe at least hah.
Something to do while Alabama skull fricks us in a few weeks I guess.

If y'all want to talk about fishing, I will join this conversation. I can add plenty. Otherwise, pass the tequila.

I posted the 5 stages of watching an Auburn football game yesterday on Facebook as I was watching the game. The final stage was Acceptance, which is a Bourbon on the Rocks filled 3/4s of the way full.
