I think Petrino would be a bad hire for Auburn. Why would you want a coach that you know cannot beat Nick Saban? If Petrino won 30 games in his first 3 years at AU, but went 0-3 vs Alabama, would Auburn fans be ok with that?

Yes, because if we're good enough to win 30 games in 3 years, we will beat Alabama.
