You, obviously, did not understand my post. No one is saying they didn't win the game.

I said, their win over LSU is their "Signiture" Win on their resume. It is the #1 reason why they are ranked #2 in the BCS. The LSU win is what gave Florida credibility in the eyes of the pollsters.

When you are coming off sub-par years like UF was is 2010 & 2011, you need a signiture win to help you in the eyes of the polls. Their win over LSU is what has helped them be ranked higher than Oregon, Notre Dame, and K-State. Again, without the BIG win over LSU, those teams are ranked ahead of UF right now. A win over an AVG LSU, and UF is ranked lower. Got it????

if we don't florida doesn't. uf was lucky as hell to face LSU at the time y'all did. i doubt anyone in teh sec has ever lost as many starters and key players to injury, etc than lsu since the start of the year. we have held it together and we are improving every week, SOMEHTHING THE FLORIDA GATORES DID NOT DO LAST YEAR. THEY CHOSE TO WHINE AND OFFER UP EXCUSES HOW URBAN MEYER RUINED THE TEAM INSTEAD OF MANNING UP AND PLAYING FOOTBALL. y'all have become insufferable this year.

I made it down to the SC game.... First game in a while. That was one of the best, if not the best, atmospheres I have ever seen there. It had that team so pumped! That offense was ready to go, and moved the ball well on a very solid defense in SC. They were focused and mistake free. I have no doubt they will be ready to go on O. I know it will be tough to move the ball on Bama.... But I think this O is capable of making some plays when we need it to win this game. The new Oline is gelling and Hill is emerging as well. Both of these weren't the case vs FL. We definitely have the horses...It should be one helluva game

Two of these don't belong.

Its funny how this time last year the Gators were saying Muschamp was in way over his head and that he couldn't handle the pressure of the job and now has a coach who knows how to adjust during the game. Yea I know 14-6 who cares.

Other than their D and RBs. LSU is average at best. Who will step up? Les? Oline? Mettdas? NB4UFHASNOOFFENSE.

Don't minimize your signature win. And we don't have horses (or hosses, for that matter), brah, they're Tigers (or Tigahs, depending where in the state you're saying it).

derp. His team's best win is a home win against a team he's calling mediocre. Not hard to understand.

I got the fact that they defeated LSU and that help them in the eyes of the polls.

But here's you orignal post

So, why the need to knock the one team that has helped your team's stature so much this year in the eyes of pollsters?

You posted that as if they should offer some gratitude to you guys for defeating you. They can knock you as much as they like because they won the game. If they were to go undefeated and win the SEC they would be ranked high in the BCS anyway.

If MSU defeats Alabama badly this weekend and expose some weakness should they not talk about those weaknesses they expose. I guess they should not knock us that much because we're the reason they would be ranked in the top 5.

I guess the same can be said about some LSU fans who were ready to throw the season in after the bad showings against AU and Towson then the loss to UF.

Why you insecure when it comes to critique of LSU?

Because most critiques don't take into account our head coaches stupid strategy. He just wants a win and doesn't care by how much. He will run dive plays three times in a row on the 5 yard line just to settle for a field goal and lean on the defense. We have been moving between the 20's all year. Teams that put the ball in the air more then 25 or 30 times will lose. A great passing game is double edged and miles knows this. If a couple of things go differently, we beat USCe and atm by 3 td's.

does not matter- whoever wins this game will win the west and will win the SEC CG- even if gators make it they lose to the Tide and will not be LSU a second time

I do not call what happened in the swamp a blow out win- you are vulnerable and not near as good as you think

LSU is not that good either but good enough to beat the gators if we meet again

Thats just an ignorant statement. LSU has very good LB'S and DB'S. Yea QB,WRs,and coach they def have the advantage in but not far superior.

Everywhere except the qb position. Mettenburger or however you spell along with the injuries to the online will make it harder for the Tigers to beat the Tide. LSU will have to win with defense, field position, and running the ball. If they have to depend on their slow arse immobile qb, they won't do well.
