Bama doesn't have near a dominant front 7 as last year, but if you think that patch work O-line is going to put in work vs Bama you are mistaken.

The Bama front will have much more success vs that O-line than the LSU front will have vs the the Bama O-line. Plus the lack of mobility, pocket presence, and football IQ of Mett spells disaster. The guy can't read simple coverages and doesn't recognize basic blitzes.

This game will be a borderline blowout.

Let's take a look at something before you start talking out the side of your neck:
quote:

In his lone season at Butler he had 2,678 yards passing yards with 32 touchdowns and four interceptions.

I know this was in Juco, but how did he do this if he is so terrible? I think his production at LSU is more indicative of the LSU offense as a whole. Not one guy.

Uh, no. It has actually found a 2nd life in the last two games against good defense. Thanks, though.

I hope your OL is half as bad as people are claiming cause I'm not seeing it.

Talking out of my neck? We've all seen it in his first half a season so far.

This LSU offense is short on talent. Outside of RB the rest of the units are avg to below avg. This is the weakest WR group at LSU this millenium. The O-line was already suspect in pass-pro before the injuries. LSU hasn't had a threat at TE in years and we all know the issues at QB.

Way to not address what I posted. The line allowed one sack vs a good USC d line, and has had run blocked very well in all but one game. LSU hasn't consistently thrown to a tightend since 2008, and the receivers have dropped 30 plus balls. My point was that you can't put all of this on Mett. If you do then you are not watching.

Only 1 sack against South Carolina with Clowney and Taylor (and that is because Mett stepped back into the sack when he should have stepped up).

Only 2 against A&M with elite DE Damontre Moore. Yards lost in last two weeks from sacks: 18.

For reference, Bama has given up 4 sacks in the last two weeks against lesser competition (Missouri, Tennessee). So go figure.

Try again. LSU's line has played very well against some elite DEs.

USC is horrible on the road they just lost by 30 to UF in the swamp and stuggled with UK on the road as well so nobody who really watches football was impressed with the win. The O-line run-blocked well and LSU never really got behind so obvious passing downs were few and far in between. Mett also gifted USC some points.

LSU fans make a lot of excuses for Mett, I know this is his 1st year starting in the SEC. He isn't a true freshman though he is a 4th year Jr and should be further along in his development.

Because they had 4 turnovers. Did you even watch that game? I'm thinking you didn't.

Irony.

Wow you didn't watch LSU-S Carolina either, did you? LSU came out early throwing short passes in that game.

People smack talk without all the facts. They often watch the highlights and get a clouded view of what really happened on the field.

For example Florida was held to 47 yds in the first half before eventually pulling out the win.

ATM gained most of its yards in the first quarter or so. LSU adjust and held JFF to 27 yards rushing.

I admit the passing offense has been hot garbage, but I think they have a great shot at upsetting Bama.

LSU had a lot of 3 step drops and quick throws to negate the Carolina pass rush. They were able to run the ball well and stay ahead of the chains.

Neither the UF or Carolina defense is on the level of Bama's. If Bama plays a clean game and doesn't turn it over LSU won't score double digits.

And we will do the same to Bama. Short passes, screens, Ware and Hill up the middle, Ford to the outside. When you creep up we WILL throw deep and it is a matter of time before we connect on some of these.

Sadly I agree. LSU doesn't have the offense to put enough points on the board to beat Bama.

ROLL TIDE. Its like ****. Its just fun to say. No harm in having a little fun with football. People on here get so excited about stats and facts and predictions and they never truly enjoy the season. There will always be facts and winners and losers. But you only get one life to enjoy some football and by God thats what I'm gonna do. ROLL TIDE.

Bama does not concede any of that underneath shite. LOL. Have you not watched the Bama D. They stop the run with only their front and play coverage. Its the main reason Saban prefers the 3-4, because he doesn't have to committ extra players to stop the run.

We will test that strategy.

We will go deep against Bama. If only to keep you honest. If you give us the deep ball, we are going to connect eventually.

Yeah eventually means fourth quarter when the back-ups are in and it don't matter anymore.

You don't have the WRs to win the 1 on 1 match ups. There is literally, no way for LSU to consistently move the ball against Bama.

The more I think about it, this game is going to be ugly for Miles. Blown out in Tiger Stadium. The melt down on the rant is going to be pure comedy.
