So, will a 7-5 regular season keep Dooley at TN one more year?

More than likely the Vols are losing their next two games. They have Alabama at home and then they go to South Carolina.

After that, they sit at 3-5 overall. Games remaining are Troy, Mizzou, Vandy, and Kentucky. All 4 they have the talent to win, puts them at 7-5 heading to a bowl game.

A bowl win puts them at 8-5. Is that good enough to keep him for one more year?

He has no shot at returning without a win against Alabama or South Carolina.

I think they need to give him an extension.

Honestly, who would they hire right now that is better than Dooley. If they can get Gruden then I think they should do it, if not they need to stay the course or just get set back that much further with the firing and hiring of a new coach.
