You are dead wrong. They were among the dregs of the conference for decades. Even Kentucky and MSU had won the SEC, and Vandy had about a dozen championships in earlier conferences. UF (except for the probation years) was terrible until Spurrier got there.

The guy has some NFL-type studs playing on that team now. That always helps you look good as a coach.
