After seeing the "everyone smile" look, seeing how much he has in his checking account, and seeing how he coaches, I'm a little worried about him after he leaves. I wonder what kinds of prospects he'll have.

The documents also show the coach as having $300 cash on hand and $500 in his checking account.

This is just sad, a new low. I see no joy in kicking a downed dog.

He comes on TV and I have to look away. It's just depressing.

I do a bit, but he's still a fricking awful coach that's driving Arkansas into the ground

Send that looney toon over to Pedo State. Only a nut would coach the PSU Pedos.

I'm in college and I have way more money than an SEC head football coach. :grindin:

I have no sympathy for the man. He's earned 19 years of D1 head coach pay days and didn't plan soundly. I'm just glad my state and my fan heart is paying the price for it.

He was the coach I most wanted gone from the staff last season and I bought into the wacky figure head keeping the team loose and focused. He's kept them confused and unguided.

how in the hell does a grown man with a job only have $500 in his checking account? Is the rest in his savings or something? Does he have a savings account?

Just curious but why is that? Our special teams besides a few shitty plays last year was pretty good I thought.

How the hell do you get in over 25 million dollar of debt?
If he provided a guaranty on a commercial real estate transaction, then it isn't that difficult. He obviously should have been better advised. No way should he have had personal recourse on a commercial transaction as a passive investor. Too many variables that you can't control and don't have the time to keep tabs on as a full time coach.

I sort of agree, but that means we would have to stop making fun of Vince Young too, and I'm just not ready to do that yet.

Why didn't he just bet 25 mil on Bama plus the spread last week. If I were him I'd bet 3m per game for the next 9 games, pay off my 25m debt and walk away with 2m in the pocket. All at the expense of the Flagship nation.

Guess who he bet on the last 3 weeks?

Holy shite I just figured it out.

John L Smith is betting his entire salary each week on the opposing teams and purposefully throwing the games to get himself out of debt.
