I am not really sure what LSU needs to address other than maybe being more reliable WR play.

Coaching.
Offensive line.
Defensive secondary.
Linebackers (need moaar)
In that order.

Pass protection. It needs to improve.

Slow starts maybe?
Offensive line playing good but probably still not up to their All-American potential.
DBs getting caught out of position a few times.
None of this is glaring.

Pass blocking still needs to be a little better.
Middle zone coverage still gappy IMO

Offensive line and secondary are pretty equally shitty for us.

A greater focus on the tasks at hand, at the level the 2011 club had

which would solve this.

Offensive line. If our line wasn't totally decimated before the season even started, I think we could have had a pretty special year. As is, 7-5 looks realistic.
Edit: O-line injuries this season:
53 Travis Ruth – 6-2, 295, Sr., 2L (LG)
62 Taylor Chappell – 6-5, 290, RSFr. (RT) - SEASON
72 Elvis Fisher – 6-5, 300, Sr., 3L (LT)
75 Jack Meiners – 6-6, 310, Sr., 3L - Set to come back this week at RT, but has been out until this week
