Since 1895 Alabama has won 24 games, lost 9 and tied 2....in Baton Rouge! Did you know that LSU went 20 YEARS without beating Alabama there in the 60s and 70s. Hell, there's a story about Coach Bryant calling Charlie Mac before one season started to see if Alabama could schedule some of their other games in BR, seeing how well we did down there! Y'all ain't gonna intimidate shite down there.

I was unaware that Bama's still playing with their 1960s and 70s squads.

Bama fans gonna bama fan.

ETA: Hasn't LSU also owned Bama in BDS in the past 10 years or so?

Is arkansas at 2:30 a tougher game than Arkansas at 11 am? Who cares when they played UL MONROE IS BETTER than Arkansas.

LSU's has been garbage too. I think they are about equal, but bama has played bigger named schools, which means nothing.

LSU's offensive line is not playing as good as they did last year and that has me worried. I think we drop a game before Novemember 3rd. But will beat the dog shite out of Baby Bear.

It truly seems like ESPN believes this is the Top 5:

1. Alabama
2. Alabama 2nd String
3. LSU
4. Oregon
5. Alabama 3rd String

Even saw some pics posted of people saying this.

So after this weekend when we have AU and y'all have FAU will that still hold true? So far this is what I got:

UM = Washington
Arky = Auburn
West.Kent = North Texas
Idaho = FAU

That's about as even as it gets.

Same thing they said in 2010 after they killed an overrated Florida team. They lost 3 games.

It's kind of an odd headline but LSU's just a bit off the radar at this point.

Sure, probably due to memories of Oregon/WVU last year plus this is UW (not very good), AU (having some issues) coming up. The UF game will give the fanbase and the nation in general a good barometer of where LSU is at.

You haven't played AU yet....

Michigan was 10-2 and won a BCS bowl last year and was deservedly a Top-10 team when we played them....Michigan >>>>>>UW

Western KY beat KY last weekend...

Arky is a dumpster fire but they still had 17 starters retruned and we went into their house and destroyed them...

Sorry but today Bama's S.O.S is better

Thank god LSU/Bama teams aren't thinking this way, or they would be giving piss poor performances on the field.

It's kind of unbelievable that you could read that post and not have a clue what I was trying to say.

I'll try to spell it out as simply as possible, LSU is a bit more under the radar than us so far because they've only had one game that anyone nationally was likely to watch (and it's not likely that that many people watched it). We were in the primetime game on the first week of the season, and the nationally televised 2:30 CBS game last weekend.

Again, most people outside of Louisiana would say we've played the tougher schedule, but that was not even really the point. More people have watched us play so far, and they've seen us look dominant, even if it was against relatively shitty opposition.

Sure, we (LSU fans) are hoping the team is taking it a game at a time. The club played with focus every series against UW but took naps against NT and Idaho. I'm hoping to see a UW type concentration this Saturday (and from here on out).

So you are saying a dumpster fire of a squad is a credible opponent.

Bama fans shouldnt be too smug...playing at red stick, could get your teeth kicked. I think Bama is the best team in the country, but sometimes the best team doesnt win. The team that wants it more will.

So if we dismantle the Boogs something like 45-14 does that factor in at all?

Too bad this isn't last years team. UM is a middle of the road football team just like UW. In fact UW has a much better QB.

Again, they lost to fricking ULM. I guess Bama fans have just learned to accept that every now and then you'll lose to those guys.

Still a push brah. No matter how you try to dress the pig.
