You obviously weren't watching the same Buffalo (not the bills) rack up the points and yards on the unstoppable Georgia defense. After this game Franklin will be mentioned in the Heisman talk

Woah man, Buffalo is an incredibly respectable FCS team. Do you realize how many small children grow up wanting to attend the prestigeous Buffalo university due to the way they excel in sports. I can assure you there are probably 4 or more.

It's funny how people want to justify gawja's awful performance by saying well we had guys suspended bla bla bla. Well news flash every team in the conferences 2nd stringers should still be able to destroy Buffalo. There not exactly a powerhouse.

#7 ranking is crazy, no way do yall really deserve that. Honestly.

You got it wrong your team played the FCS team.
James Franklin is amazing QB 13/21 and 131 yards and 39 rushing yards against the mighty FCS Southeast Louisiana.

Jesus, take it easy, Mizzou guy.

I've been worried about this game since it was announced. I'm definitely not one of these guys not giving A&M or Mizzou any respect. Both programs are extremely solid.

Given Georgia's history of disappointing me with underachievement, and my belief that Mark Richt can't win The Big Game, my head tells me that Missouri pulls off a close one. Maybe 24-21 or something. I still think that Georgia might be way overrated.

My heart, however, tells me that Georgia brings it home. Because I need this one. The universe owes me just this one, dammit! I'll say 31-24 Georgia.

Really hoping Ogletree and Rambo are back and for an injury-free game. Welcome to the SEC, Mizzou.

I see UGA is getting warm support too from the gallery. Since you red and black leghumpers all predict UF will lose to ATM....let me throw my prediction in the ring:

Mizzou has some backwoods hillbilly horse thieves that sack and pillage towns and did I mention rape? They are going to stop UGAs run game and corner Murray on the sidelines and give him this message: "stop that grinning and drop that linen"

Haven't put my .02 cents in yet so here we go, Mizzou rolls 42-6, no tds for uga.

No but really I think the score will be about 27-21, hopefully with mizzou winning but I think it could go either way. Honestly a lot of people are calling for 30 pts being scored by both offenses. I'm picturing more of a Vandy-USC first half and then the offenses getting it together in the 2nd half

Since some people are at least attempting to discuss the actual game here is my opinion:

Mizzou's offense is fairly complex, at least by SEC standards. That is NOT a flame. We spread the ball fairly evenly and typically have at least 4 wide. Not an incredible amount of pre-snap movement. Our WR corps is very good, but that is coming from a league that sucks at defending the pass. We have wide splits and our O-line will be mediocre this year. Bubble screens all day long, many of which will go for losses. I am not impressed with any of our TEs so it will be interesting to see if we just go without against a solid D-line.

What concerns me from MU's perspective is that with a solid defense and all off-season to prepare for this game that UGA will basically know what to expect. Mark Richt has said publicly that his scout QB has done a great job of imitating James Franklin. If this is true then when Coach Yost makes those everyone-knows-it's coming-plays it will not turn out well for us.

The atmosphere will not be intimidating to UGA players, but should be a huge boost for Mizzou.

I believe our defense is solid and is geared towards slowing down "old man football." The battles in the trenches will be very interesting to watch from an SEC noob's perspective.

I believe Mizzou can win this game but I do think the Vegas line is about accurate (UGA by 2 or 3).

We don't really know how the offense has been tweaked over the off-season, but we have been incorporating the run into our version of the spread over the last few years. Hopefully Yost has come up with some twists that UGA is not expecting.

I don't know how talented UGA's 3rd and 4th CBs are but they are probably the key to whether or not UGA wins the game. Even if our O-line is getting decimated we have lots of quick slants and short routes so our 4th and 5th WRs will get the ball thrown in their direction and they all have big play ability.

Saturday cannot get here fast enough.

They probably got kicked out of school before the season started.

Seriously, we were already 15ish under for scholarships before the season season started.

Then we had 4 starters and 2 backups missing on D. Marlon Brown was out on O. Theus (starter) and Dantzler (Theus' backup) went down during the game. I'm not counting Crowell because it doesn't appear we will miss him much.

So a total of 9 players were out or went out on Saturday. We're only getting back 4 of them (Theus, Dantzler, MM, Brown). I'm no Math genius, but I'd say that's very bad.

If all the starters were there, I'd pick UGA. Most people would. But being down that many guys, I have a hard time believing UGA can win. Plus, UGA typically comes out flat in the beginning of the season. The stars are aligned for Mizzou.

Mizzou 27
UGA 21

Not saying you're like them or anything but everyone was saying the same thing about Colt Brennan and Hawaii back in '07. Difference is we have a much better pass rush than we had that year to go along with a much stronger defense overall.

That said I think it's close. I think y'all will ride emotion for a couple of early scores and then the defense settles in and we work from behind to win 27-20 or something like that.

You Georgia fans are hilarious. No one will care if you beat Mizzou. You're supposed to beat the crap out of us. But if its a close game or if you by chance lose! You will all look like giants losers. Seriously, even if we keep it close we become ranked next week. If we beat you even by one point we will become the talk of the SEC. Bring however many fans you want. Remeber you coming to our home, Where there are no bulldogs to roam. Tiger Nation - Black Out Style!
