Go frick yourself...Your AD admitted you canceled partially due to ticket sales, and your coach admitted that he liked this because he didn't have game film on A&M yet. What a bunch of vags'. I'd be flat out embarrassed to be a La Tech fan right now..even more than normal.

This reminds me of Baylor fans this time last year gloating that their President held up A&M from leaving the Big 12 for a few extra days...Embarrassment/shame should be the appropriate emotion, but no, not with downtrodden, POS fans of POS schools like La Tech and Baylor.

That's what A & M gets for scheduling an away game at La Tech. Damn! That’s Big 12 shite and needs to stop.

A&M only agreed to the away game because we had to completely redo our schedule with only a few months notice, no real choice. We always buy out the directional schools to come get their arse whippings at Kyle normally.

Rest assured though, A&M will likely NEVER schedule another game in LA that is not with LSU or playing in the Sugar Bowl.

Shreveport is 200 miles inland and 350 miles from where the storm is making landfall. Its basically like cancelling a football game in Dallas because of a Cat1 storm hitting Corpu Christi, TX or cancelling a game in Atlanta because a Cat1 storm was gonna hit south of Jacksonville, FL.

If A&M and La Tech dont have matching bye weeks, the game probably doesnt even get moved at all, because there would be no benefit to La Tech to go through the hassle of postponing for a couple days for such a flimsy excuse.

We also have a bit of history with these. In 2003 we played a game in Blacksburg, VA against Va Tech in the remnants of Hurricane Isabel without any issues. Blacksburg is also about 200 miles inland and was only about 275 miles from where Isabel made landfall as a borderline Cat2/Cat3 storm. Isabel was also a Category 5 major hurricane when it was offshore.

We've also had game moved in the past several days in advance because of Hurricanes Rita (2005) and Gilbert (1988), which were both among the most intense hurricanes ever recorded when those games were cancelled. Rita also having come in the aftermath of Katrina and thus at the height of hurricane panic.

I can understand not playing Thurday but moving it to Oct. 13th was undeniably a horseshite move.

I've never seen a fan so pumped up about the postponement of a football game in my life. It's clearly a big accomplishment for your school, so congratulations.

You know, talking shite to a team that has never lost to you and has won by an average of 28 points over those 10 games doesn't make too much sense.

A&M beat the two teams that beat TCU (Baylor and SMU) by a combined score of 101-41 and you lost to TCU.

Man.... Y'all are some foul-mouthed B!tches. What are y'all 12? I guess an Aggie education isn't what it used to be. I want to see this game played tomorrow too but October 13th works better for us Regardless of the score, I truly look forward to watching Tech prep y'all for LSU the next week....2 La schools in 2 weeks?!?? Ouch

laugining at all the Aggie weather experts. This thread is full of them. Sounds like you are much better at meteorology than football.

I would be pissed if my game was cancelled too, but cancelling was the right thing to do. Sucks for both teams

Thanks for recognizing our school of Meteorology. It is indeed one of the best in the nation.

Ag's, if you are going the rescheduled game in October, do not stay in Shreveport/Bossier. Get a hotel in Marshall, Longview or Tyler.

Eat before the game in Texas and head home after the game. Fill up your car on the Texas side of the border.

Try not to spend a penny in that low rent place.
