That Freshman QB will make mistakes, but go back and look at his high school numbers. If he plays in the system, watch out. Kid was made for this offense...

Then again, he could crash and burn. Not likely given how much he improved over the Summer between Spring and Fall camp

Im more worried about a group and pound wear u down kinda offense, we have some ball hawks if we tries to throw and some nice pass rushers, I'm a little worried about our offense, but it doesn't seem like y'all have too much exp in the defense if what i read about y'all starting a few true freshman is true

I've had a bad feeling about this game ever since it was set.

I honestly think A&M could blow UF out.

(I hope not, but I've got a very shitty feeling about this game.)

Road games are never gimmes...but here is my take:

A&M returns only 5 starters back from a defense that folded like a Kmart pup tent in 4th qts last year...you guys allowed like what...seven teams to gangbang your azzs for over 37 points a game?

I will call your frosh qb first time starter and raise you a bunch of AA defensive talent. BTW if we went around and predicted outcomes of games based on high school talent we recruited...hell, us and Bama would be in SECCG every year.

So starting 1 true freshman means no experience?

I guess the 5 senior, 2 junior, and 3 sophomore starters have no experience either.

A&M could win this one, being in CS. I'm predicting a very close game.

This game is why the cliche "that's why we play the game" was made.

It can go either way. Too many unknowns about both teams.

It will be fun......for one school.

However, our first concern is Louisiana Tech on Thursday night (Isaac permitting).

This is a tough game for Florida.

Say what you want about Texas A&M, but in the first half of games last year, they murdered some really good teams in Arkansas and Oklahoma State.

If it wasn't for epic second half collapses all season long, they would have been one of the better teams in the country.

My worry is that A&M gets up early and UF doesn't have the firepower to fight back. We'll see. IDK who the fricking QB even is at this point so it's hard to make predictions.

Is it possible? Yes. But, with so many unknowns in our team you have to give UF the benefit of the doubt. They will rightfully be favored in that game. I'd call it a 35ish % shot at the upset.

In all honesty, I just want to beat LaTech right now!

The gators could win, but they will have to score 40 to do it.

If that happens, it will be because of problems with defensive strategy. I don't see Muschamp making that mistake.

Re: our game, Arkansas made defensive adjustments at halftime which enabled us to limit A&M's running game. Otherwise, we probably would have lost.

It could go either way IMO but it's a hard game to predict with the coaching changes.

Can we do it? No question. Its not even a stretch. But a new coach, new offense, new defense, new conference means that I dont know what the frick is going to happen.
UF's defense finished the 2011 season ranked 8th, aTm's defense 59th. UF has most all starters on defense coming back while aTm lost about 6. aTm's offense ranked 7th nationally, UF's ranked 105th there will be improvement as most starters come back. aTm has a new coach, new offense, new defense, new conference and IMO UF wins this in an UGLY game for both programs.

Yeah, they can win.

The biggest question mark is offense. If Pease is as good as advertised, we will win.

Otherwise... Yikes!
