He might not be, but unfortunately, it's not going to take much to beat out a guy like Clint Moseley.

The coaches know what they're dealing with. They can't afford to start Moseley.

I'm thinking you're being sarcastic, but it's hard to tell on the Internet.

You're more likely to get the US missile launch codes

When's the next scrimmage scheduled for? If it's outdoors imma camp on a hill overlooking the field and use binoculars to get some stats! Gene has made me desperate

This is what I think about the QB situation. Kiehl will be our starter, and he's head and shoulders about Moseley, who has hardly even been a part of the QB "battle" because he can't throw a frickin' pass due to his bum shoulder. There is no contest here, BUT we are slim on QBs. We have Frazier, Moseley and a true freshman in Wallace as viable options heading into the season. With Moseley's history of taking news about not being the starter very hard, our coaches know they can't give any hints of the QB "battle" being over for fear of Moseley leaving the program before the season even starts. Then we'd be left with two scholarship QBS. While Moseley isn't anything special, he does give us depth.

Now I don't know what the difference in naming a starter now or two weeks from now would be (because chances are good Moseley will be looking to transfer once it's announced that he won't be the starter again), but I think they're trying to keep another QB around for as long as possible.

Not sure if serious?

Naming a starter soon is critical to the development of the offense between now and Sept 1.

Chizik said he is not sure, but a lot depends on health of players. He also said if there is another one, it would most likely be for the younger players.

I meant in terms of Clint possibly leaving. Just announce KF is the starter now so the offense can move on with him. If Clint's gonna leave, he's gonna leave.

We are completely screwed this season if this is the case.

I wish we could suit up Reuben Foster right now. I'm just glad Holland has been getting major praise here lately. We really need for the linebacker play to come through this year.

I think Holland will be fine. He will start with Bates and Evans when its all done. Of course Frost will switch in a lot.

Those three guys should be decent in the middle if they play hard...
