So recruiting rankings based upon verbal commits, that can and will change by February and also leave off players yet to commit(a large portion of the pool) have a relevance at this point?
Okay, I will now revert to your knowledge from this point on in my life. Speak on Sensei

Say's the Auburn fan. Not picking on you but look where Bama was 5 years ago with sub par recruiting and look at them us now with top 5 classes.
You completely missed his point. Take Washington for example, they went from the low 40's to #15 in Rivals team rankings over the span of one weekend last week. We have 9 commits and are planning on taking 25. A lot can change between today and February so mocking our recruiting ranking today with an interim head coach is completely pointless.
Well pointless to everyone other than tickfaw and his need to flame Arkansas daily.

You are hating on the pigs today. 9-3 is possible this year but I don't think they will go to the crapper. I think their success lately will help them in upcoming recruiting and getting good coaches to come in. They will be fine.

Wow, an objective LSU poster. I had heard that there were some of you guys around, but didn't think I would ever come across one...

Their recent success won't help them in recruiting because the reason for that success is gone. They have the money to bring in a good coach though but it's an open question as to whether or not anyone that could keep it going will take it. Arkansas has a lot of disadvantages as compared to the major SEC teams and now their expectations are above what they should be.
If they get one of those guys then they will be fine but if they don't I see dark clouds on the horizon for them.

I've came across a couple lately. There's always the dumbasses that frick it up for them though. Something we experience a lot.

Everything hinges on the hire they make following this John L. Smith debacle.

Of course it is a major step back but honest discussion isn't the point of this thread. Just check his posting history since he appeared last month right after tickfawtiger got banned. All the guy does is flame Arkansas.
Why would anyone who's not an admin take the time to check someone's post history an/or give a shite if he was an alter??

Arky will have "decent overall W/L record" as long as they play a cup cake out of conference schedule like they have since USC Trojans exploited them for about 60 a game.

The recruiting world has definitely shifted. While it may only be July, look at the number of commitments teams have. Sure they have plenty of time to put together a somewhat decent class (which is going to be hard to do with an interim coach), but a lot of prospects are already off the board. They certainly aren't going to be taking any of the big time recruits from Texas or even La.
In the end, I think it had to be understood that this class was going to suffer due to off season events. They have to make a solid hire and assemble a top notch recruiting class. You cant have two of these classes in a row or its going to take a while to get out of that mess.

No Arkansas fan will refute that but facts and reason weren't the point of this thread.
