Aubie only lost to Top 10 teams and a top 15 team in Clemson. All of those were on the road except for the eventual National Champions.

Exactly, good stuff above.

AU now has what appears to be a decent OC and a decent DC

TTsTowel approves of this sentence.

They return, what, 9-10 starters on D?

Yes, everyone outside of Neiko Thorpe (we all know that Erique Florence will definitely be an upgrade). Plus, I have to mention that players like Kris Frost, Robenson Therezie, Grabe Wright, and Jermaine Whitehead will see more time. Frost in place of Evans, Therezie in place of Mincy/Bell, Wright in place of Carter, and Whitehead in the nickel and sometimes at safety. Plus, Dee Ford is healthy again and he's our best pass rusher. Yes, even better, specifically at pass rushing, than Corey Lemonier.

Frazier has potential, and Emory Blake is stout. OMAC and Tre Mason should both be good

And we return basically everyone on offense outside of Mike Dyer, Brandon Moseley, and AJ Green. I don't really count Trotter because he lost his job to Moseley, who is a garbage quarterback.

The K/P combo at Aubie is very good

Seems like Chizik works very hard to keep our special teams top notch...

They lose to Bama and LSU, they lose to UGA, and they may or may not lost to Arky.

As of now, I think we lose to LSU and Alabama, with Georgia and Arky as toss-ups. We'll keep each of them close due to them all being at home, aside from Alabama. Depending on how Frazier develops and the defese does, we might give them a run. I don't have money on it now though.

One of those does not belong...

I feel like AU could beat both UGA and Arky this year. And I'm not ready to automatically throw in the towel against Bama or LSU either.

We'll see. Hope your players have the same attitude.

Lots of assumptions being made by other fans about an Auburn team that will probably be very different from last year.

Sorry, you guys just don't have the athletes to play with us.Only 2 or 3 teams in the country do.No shame.

I know that little brother syndrome is hard to shake, but try to be realistic about your team.Like I said ,there is no shame in it.Only a few teams in the country do have the athletes.

Please, tell me about your knowledge of what Auburn has on their team this season. I'm sure you have great insight.

Exactly. They don't go very in-depth about Auburn on the Rant, do they?

ok,how about you have a weak o-line,and d-line is a strength for both us and Bama. You can't stop the run,and that is again a fricking strength for us and the gumps.Your coach is Gene Chizik.Enjoy the fight with Moo state for 4th

I didn't realize that everything about our team last year would be exactly the same this year and we're incapable of improvement… yeah I guess we're screwed

Are you kidding? After the 2013 recruiting class in enrolled, Auburn will almost be on par with LSU when it comes to talent. Since 2009, our achilles-heel has been defense. Not only did we have depth problems and a young defense, but we've had horrible coaching. That has changed. We now have a defensive guru, talent, and depth needed for our defense to finally start winning games again. Talent on offense has never been an issue since Gene Chizik has been Head Coach. Plus, let me mention that we return all starters but Neiko Thorpe, AJ Green, Brandon Moseley, and Mike Dyer.

You venture over from the Tiger Rant, flame Auburn, and when your "logic" is questioned, this is your response? Wow, just wow.

How much would you like to bet? Your absolute ceiling is third in the west, due to the Arky debacle. Please show me who is gonna block Sam Montgomery,Barkevious Mingo, and Bennie Logan. They're not on your depth chart.I know it's tough to accept, but it's what it is.Nobody in college football thinks you guys will finish any better than I've stated.

Well I think Freshman All-American center Reese Dismukes will be able to hold his own against Logan. And LT Greg Robinson, from all accounts from practice, may be our best OL for the next few years, but we'll see how he looks once he gets actual PT. And yes, they are both on our depth chart.

ETA: And nobody in college football thought we'd win it all in 2010. How'd that work out buddy?

A money bet over the internet?

Why would you put your OT millions on the line?

2010 called.

Typically, that's what an offensive line is for. And since we've signed a bunch of top notch offensive linemen since 2010, I'd say we'll be OK there when we play LSU.

Yes, they are.

2010 called...again.
