question to the LSU fans, since they're probably more "in the know" about it on a day-to-day basis: do you think his coaching performance in the last MNC is an ominous sign of things to come? from my recliner, at one point it looked like he completely alienated both the players & other coaches....wonder if the dynamics from that game will carry over into the upcoming season.

so, i guess my answer is: good coach up to this point, but i'm curious to see how the story ends before making a final judgement.

I think Les is a solid coach... not a great one, but very solid. He's a bit erratic IMHO and has made some startling on the field blunders. Nonetheless, he is an exceptional recruiter and motivator, and this has covers some tactical sins.

The bottom line to me is that I like the guy, he's like the crazy uncle at the family reunion who always brings the fun.

dude...he's been here 8 years. i've been hearing this "things to come" bullshite since '05. remember when idiots were saying he's the next Larry Coker? yea...that was funny
