Where was that running game against Alabama? The whole point of this thread is to prove your point about how and why LSU is going to beat Alabama and vise versa. Where was this stable of running backs on NOV 5th and JAN 9th? Ford was the only productive back first game because of the option, but the best back 2nd game was Hilliard with like 15 yards. Saying that I still said yall had the better RB group good god. Please tell me how these backs will do any better against Bama this time. You are not making many great points on why this LSU team is better than last years

Because you won't have the convenience of knowing that we can't throw the football. Mett will sling it

Comparing a team QB'ed by JJ/Lee witha team QB'ed by Zach may be apples and oranges...we'll see.

Assuming Mett is an upgrade at QB, which is likely a safe assumption, Bama will have to give more respect to our passing game. Better passing game means better looks for our RB's. Hell we may even be able to run a draw play.(OK that may be asking too much)

Dude well be able to throw the ball this year, do you understand the difference that makes? That takes away the advantage of stacking the box and allows the offense to do more diverse things (it wont be run, run, pass everytime). Every play in the NC game Bama was peeking in the back field because 9/10 ot was a run
