Bama Fans: What are your thoughts on the LSU game next year?

It is going to be in Tiger Stadium. The Tigers will have a huge chip on their shoulder and will be looking for revenge. I am assuming LSU has more returning starters than Bama (correct me if I am wrong) and could be favorites since they are playing at home.
So can Bama pull of the win? Do you think Saban now has a mental edge over Miles? Looking forward to your early predictions for the game.

If course we can pull off the win. It will be a good game, but it really depends if mettenburger is worth a shite or not. If AJ is on like last time, then we win.

We haven't seen either of those teams play yet.
But right now, I'm going to say Bama wins.

I think if Mett shows flashes early in the year, you will see a defensive gameplan not unlike that used against Wilson/Hogs. If the guy doesn't live up the hype, UA will scheme to stop the run.
I don't care if LSU is pissed off more than a nest of hornets, if the don't execute, they won't win.

By the 1st week in November LSU'S shoulder chip and Alabama's lost letterman should be a non issue.Who ever is able to pass the ball enough to keep 8 men out of the box will have an upper hand

To give coaching credit where it is due Jimmy Mac was brillant in his game planning/play calling.

I think we win, also they should rename it to BAMA
stadium since bama is 24-7-2 there.

I think Alabama can win, but it's going to be like every other regular season match-up between Coach Saban and Coach Miles. It will be a close, hard fought game that comes down to 1-2 plays.

Bama is gonna kick arse and take names.

Ask me after I've seen you're signal caller play a game or two.

Bama returns 6 defensive "starters" (Milliner and Mosley played more than most team's starters, and did start sometimes) and 7 offensive starters. LSU returns (I didn't check, I'm trying to go off memory) 8 defensive starters and 8 offensive I think.

BAMA by 17. I don't think any defense in the SEC will be able tomstop our offense next year and our D will be almost as good as last year.

Yes. I don't think anyone would be surprised, maybe aside from the rantards.

Back to subject before the piss fight:
I think this will be another fun game like it was before the 2011 season.
Really, it's all going to depend on the identities of both teams that are shown long before this game.
Looking at LSU OL looks like a few seniors will be gone which could be an advantage for a Bama D-line that has had some significant PT. But by then the LSU O-line should have enough time to "jell." We all know about Bama's O-line so I won't touch on that.
Bama's problem will be the new addition to the coaching staff with Nussmeier, who has experience of course but Sark at Washington knows a few things about offense, so it'll be interesting to see how much Nussmeier really brings. He has some shoes to fill and it won't be easy. Luckily Grohl has been around a year now and with the WR's that showed up this year with a first year starting QB, I'd said they did a lot better than expected. Yeah, no Julio type guy but everyone here know Julio was ready for the pros right out of high school and it showed. (Sorry, never thought too much of Cignetti when he was here.) I think the offense will be just fine for Bama. LSU looks like they might do the same thing Bama did this past season and really rely on the run and just let Mett manage the game until proven other wise. But seeing as we're talking about a game in November he might very well do so. I'm looking forward to seeing him.
Both defenses are returning the same type of guys. Don't know too much about the LSU guys under the players that are leaving so I won't make a hasty judgement on them. I know Bama is losing some leaders but a lot of those guys that are returning have had some PT and a few have been in the system for a few seasons now. So those that are hoping for the 2010 Bama D, sorry but don't get you're hopes up.
I think most of us know it's a toss up and looks like some are really confident that their team will win, but this fan ain't stupid. Nothing is a sure thing.
