There's a little irony in this thread.
LSU fans always bitch about Alabama fans' sense of entitlement, and how when we consider a Bama player to be great, the rest of the world should too, or they're fricking retarded.
Meanwhile, some Alabama fans disagree that TM7 is as good as advertised, and they're acting like entitled Bama fans.
tl;dr THIS shite IS SRS BIZNESS U GUISE

Yeah, because no one else on the list ever had a dropped pass, missed tackle, fumble, negative yardage play, or any bad plays, in general.
Yeah, you really tore down that straw man you erected...great job.

Case in point both TD in game one and two that should have been were broken up by Reid not TM7 so there is another player in your secondary that is better than him. If not for Reid LSU loses both games and that isn't even a debate.

Reid > TM7 imho.

Wrong Mathieu gets all the billing when Simon and Claiborne were both better.
Yep, because Claiborne didn't receive any accolades this year. At all.
Gees, it's like you guys enjoy sounding ignorant.

We get it...you love him.

Your argument is that someone that TM7 wasn't covering almost scored?

Its not often that a team gameplans to exploit the "scariest player" on the field...its usually done to stay away from them.

hasn't been very scary thus far.
How many Bammer players made the list? Vengeance will taste great next year and you won't have a mulligan next time

You didn't kick to him. You had your heisman finalist running back stay in to block when he came on blitz. You took advantage of a height difference in coverage when you could isolate. When you ran to his side, Lacy got blown up for a loss on 3rd down runs.

I think Anthony Johnson should be on the list. That guy scares the hell out of me! Great player also.

And your exploitation of this player led to one TD in 8 quarters.
You're right. He is so turrible.

I think the gameplan was to marginalize him by preventing him from blitzing and roming, which Bama did. Again, you'll get no argument from me that as a sophomore he was known for his shutdown coverage.

Exactly. He had more touchdowns than many offensive skill players in the league. He creates turnovers, switches the field on special teams and is all over the field. He definitely deserves to be on the list. The fact that gumps want to jerk their little peckers because their team played him well only proves that point. Eliminating him from the stat sheet was a big accomplishment.

Seriously? A back stayed in and picked up a blitz??
OMG, he must be the best player EVER for that to have happened.
Is your argument really that he must be great because a back picked up the blitz and we threw over him several times to exploit the height advantage?
