I don't think there have been any updates since Tuesday, the one linked here.
I've dislocated my shoulder, but a dislocated hip sounds fricking awful. Popping your hip back into socket?

I cringed when I saw the tackle in the game. Hope he gets better.

I actually had the same injury when I was in high school playing football. I had to have surgery to clear out some bone fragments when part of the joint broke as it was dislocating. Popping it back into place was horrible.
I never got back down to my speed before the injury. Then again, I wasn't close to the athlete of these guys. The rehab wasn't bad. Lots of stretching and range of motion exercises.
I hope he comes back full strength. Regaining trust in the joint is the hardest part. I'm sure the trainers will ensure he will be ready for next fall.
